How to Give a Hedgehog a Bath

- Giving your hedgehog a bath is easy and important to do because they often get poop all over their spines and feet. Make sure you use a soap that will not burn their eyes. And never leave them in water unattended!! Always dry them before putting them in their cage.

What I've learned:
Bathe your hedgehog in oatmeal.

Baby wash is ok to just not shampoo as any shampoo pulls oils I use coconut oil as well

I have insomnia and I’ve been taking care of my friends hedgehog while she’s in ny and basically yeah they’re cool to have around

Yeah, just as long as there toys and things like that aren’t loud. Loud toys and enrichment would be a regular wheel (make sure you get a silent wheel if that bothers you!), cat toys with bells, etc.!

I just gave my hedgie a bath today :D this was his first 'proper' bath (before I had just let him run around in some water), and he was excellent! He didn't hiss even once lol. But he can have very dry and red skin, so I'm going to look into getting that baby powder bath or something similar :)
Awesome! If you can't find the powder, you can also use aveno baby shampoo! Same thing but liquid and its in a container.
