    Please do a video or short on fitting the F-body oil pan on the LS. I believe there’s cutting and stuff to the splash pan that I’d like to see a “specialist” do. Thanks!

    Man, this reminds me of Autoshop in HS. Lotsa fun figuring things out. That was the 70's though, so no electronics, injectors, ect. just carbs and disributers. Did you get your experience from being in a family that did car work? or all self taught or mentors? I think you had Autoshop in High school.

    Travis is back!!! 👍 I bought a 6.6 L8T! Do you want to throw a carb on it and fire it off? It arrives to me next Monday! Maybe use it for content?

    • @travisblack417
      @travisblack417  4 місяці тому +3

      @@racingdatasystems3708 I absolutely would but unfortunately there is no (easy) way to get it fired up on my runstand. We would need some LT1 to LS3 intake adapters, an LS3 carb intake (I only have cathedral), some LT1 headers or stock manifold+exhaust flanges, some LT1 motor mounts that are similar to the style I used for mounting LS’ on my stand, and most importantly I would have to figure out how to get the MSD box happy. The gen 4 and gen 5 motors have the same 4x/58x cam and crank signals but the sensors themselves are totally different. A few people have gotten it to work but it requires some ingenuity.
