BILLY BOSTON TRIBUTE ON BBC RADIO WALES (25/02/24)

On Sunday night the 25th February, Frank Hennessy presented a heartfelt tribute to Billy Boston on his radio programme ‘Celtic Heartbeat’, which was broadcast on BBC Radio Wales.
As well as providing important information about Billy’s move from his hometown of Cardiff to Wigan in 1953, the radio programme also features the song ‘Three Statues’ dedicated to the rugby legend that is Billy Boston.
The ‘Three Statues’ song was written by Mike Johnson and arranged/ performed by Tanglewood (Malcolm & Cynthia Charnley). The video was produced by Malcolm Charnley
