I make a facial oil with olive squalane, blackberry seed oil, raspberry seed oil, cranberry seed oil, bisabolol, and vitamin E. The squalane lightens it up and the berry oils have a very light natural fragrance. I put it on as the last layer in my bedtime routine.
I have repurchased the biossance omega cream 4 times now, and I've gotten my best friend and my sister in law into it as well. Best overnight cream for my dry acne-prone skin.

Biossance's Squalane Omega Repair Cream is the BEST for dry acne-prone skin. It's one of the only thick creams that doesn't break me out. It's worth every penny. Also I've debated adding squalane oil to my routine, so this is a very well-timed video!
My youngest son is leaning towards more acne-prone than my other boys. We tried the Ordinary's squalane & it was quickly apparent that it's not for him. Luckily, we were able to halt those emerging pimples before they got out of hand.

I’m surprised you liked Biossance’s rose oil with your acne prone skin. I love all of their products but that one. I use a tiny amount and it clogs my pores. Never tried their retinol though. I use a combination of their products with Retin A and it prevents me from getting too dried out. I agree their omega moisturizer is the best I’ve ever tried. Thanks for the review!
A nicely priced, light gel squalane moisturizer is the e.l.f. Superhydrate in the Lavender colored container. Only $12-13 and works quite well, especially in summer or on oily skin.
I bought squalane oil by itself from Biossance and after I shower I apply it all over. It makes my skin feel luxuriously soft and pump. I do take a shower every other day instead of every day so that's how I can afford it.
Tried the Biossance Cream for the first time in a sample tonight. Omg. I’m in love! I’ve found my new favorite night cream. I have sensitive skin and it leaves my skin feeling so soft. Also loving their Squaline cleanser for a more gentle second cleanse.

The glow recipe plum plump hyaluronic cream is my favorite!! My skin loves it!! Also, I recently bought the ordinarys 2% retinoid in squalane and my skin loves it! It's definitely starting to clear up!!
Thank you!!! Biossance burned the crud out of me I spent over $500 who buys before trying? I will never do this again! I can only use their lip gloss! I love that!
I tried a sample of the squalane omega cream, and was blown away! Then I came to UA-cam hunting for a video review to try and make sense of why I freaking loved it so much ( because I’m usually picky) literally one application sold me!!
Yo the Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum has squalane. It's a really good dark spot serum with 5% niacinamide and a bunch of brightening extracts. My fav niacinamide serum.
I love to use the ordinary squalane cleanser on dry skin as the first step of my double cleanse. I use it on dry skin and work the oil in my skin to remove sunscreen and makeup and then I use water to activate the emulsifier in it and rinse it from my skin and then I go in with my regular cleanser.
8:50 was the kitten 👀 However. I used to use The Ordinary’s squalane and I ~hated it.~ it didn’t absorb in and it made me feel greasy and GUCKY. I gave it to my boyfriend and he puts it on his dry, calloused hands and LOVES it! He’s a delivery driver for a local beer company so he’s hauling heavy kegs and stuff all day and it tears his hands UP. The squalane helps him so much.
I love it! But, it is the first squalane product I've used. I use it last in my skin care lineup. It takes a few minutes to absorb, but I think it makes my skin feel like silk. I do live in a really, really dry area. So, that might have something to do with it.
I've been using The Ordinary's retinol in squalane but I never felt like it was absorbing so I started mixing it with my moisturiser - now it absorbs better AND I've made a squalane moisturiser!
I love Biossance so much, and I'm seeing results with the products. Otherwise I've only used squalane products from The Ordinary. I didn't see much for results then, so maybe it's the lactic acid serum I've added at night more than anything else. However, for a time I used TO hyaluronic acid serum instead of squalane, to compare. Nope, my skin felt drier and I went back to the squalane. It's good stuff.
I have mature, dry, and sensitive skin. I like The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser. It’s not the best thing I’ve ever used, but it gets the sunscreen off, which is what I need. And it’s inexpensive. I refuse to pay a lot for something that goes down the drain. I also use TO Squalane Oil, which works well in the oil blends I make. I have their retinol in squalane but haven’t tried it yet. I’m still struggling to get my skin calmed down and can’t add anything that will irritate it further. Is Tony the hidden kitty?
I use The Ordinary 2% Retinol in Squalane a couple times a week and love it, its definitely improved the texture of my skin, brightened it and is helping with hyperpigmentation.
I bought some Biossance products, the squalane copper peptide serum, a moisturizer, and an eye cream, when they were on sale, and I feel the same way abt them, they just don't do much for me. They're not bad, I'm not reacting to the products, but I might as well just be putting a $10 moisturizer on. Maybe there is some amazing rejuvenating effect that I'm completely unaware of happening, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing when I've used them up.
I’m glad you’re talking about this! A UA-cam I really trusted recommend one of the biossance squalane products & it was the worst $60 I’ve ever spent. I’m not the type of person to be too hard on a product but I couldn’t be this UA-camr made me buy it haha. Thought maybe squalane was just a hoax.
I really love the biossance squalene and zinc spf. It gives you a nice skin like finish and my skin hasn't been congested or oily with it. The elderberry gel cleanser is also super nice. My skin has never felt that soft after cleansing.
My ingredients by mask bar the best squalane serums ! Retinol in squalane ... also avene cicalfate moistirizer has squalane...my skin really really enjoys squalane. This is a very helpful video. Peter thomas roth makes a retinol in squalane
I just recently found a 3 pack on lil mini biosance treatment syrums at tj maxx. I will tell u this. The squaline lactic acid syrum is BOMB!!! I so didn't want to like it. But it's one of .. them products that u literally see a difference in first use. The next day I could not beleive my skin. Texture on my forehead was so noticably improved. I immediately got on Amazon and order the 1 Oz for 62 bucks. But it's worth it to me intill I find something that will do what this did. Xoxo dana from pa
I love The Ordinary Squalane cleanser, but I have very dry skin. I find it silly to spend alot of money on something I rinse off. It takes of my makeup & rinses clean & I just ordered two more tubes of it. I love you darlin, but I am glad you say if you have dry skin you may love it,because I do,much love to you❣️
Theres a moisturizer from Thank You Farmer that I love. It has squalane in it and it's amazing. I use it sparingly because I love it so much. The texture is fantastic. It's in a dark purple tub with a black lid. I wish I could remember the exact name but I'm sitting at my desk at work so I dont have the tub with me. Lol. But definitely try that one if you can find it!
I’d love for you to do a video on products for older skin. There are so many anti-aging products but which ones really will make a difference? Also, products that says pro-collagen, what does that mean? Love your videos they are so informative. Thank you!
I'm a 53 y/o male who has seen a real difference using retinoids. I didn't see much of a difference until I started using retinaldehyde, aka retinal , on my face. I order the Geek and Gorgeous brand from Hungary. There aren't many brands that sell domestically. Avene makes one but it's expensive. I use the L'Oreal .3% retinol serumon my neck and around my eyes as the retinal is too strong for me there. I tried weaker formulas from Cerave but saw no benefit.
I have an unopened Plum Plump from Boxycharm recently and I wasn't excited about it because everything has hyaluronic acid so big deal about yet another one. Now that I know it has squalane, I'm really excited to use it!
I love the omega cream. It pains me that it’s so expensive, but my skin loves it. I tried TO retinol in squalane and I didn’t like it at all, I’m not fan of oils. The Biossance eye cream (I know how you feel about eye creams 😊) it’s also very good. I love Biossance and most of the time I get good deals with rewards or just the samples they send that I think makes it worth
8:06 had a tiger, not a kitten but well, kinda kitten. My favourite squalane products are Indian sunscreen brands which have squalane as their product - Concious chemist and earth rhythm - moisturizer cum sunscreen for the day 😇
I only ever used pure squalane, and TO's retinol in squalane 0,5 percent. And I loved them for my normal to dry acne prone face 😌 the pure squalane for me just had exactly right oiliness ❤️
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser’s star ingredient is squalane and is one of my *ALL-TIME* favorite cleansers, but unfortunately they sell in China, which means they test on animals, which means they are no longer in my routine!

When using the Squalene Omega moisturizer, can I use my regular vitamin c undervit?? Or the ordinary buffet with copper peptides?? Or is it all just not necessary, and just use the cream on its own ,?? Thank you, as usual another great demo
Do you have any hair videos or can you suggest any hair care channel that give information instead of bullsh!t advice. i didn't mean you give bushit advice, i love your videos they have helped me so much
I really love the squealing vitamin C rose oil but I only use it at night when I'm all done with all my moisturizers and retinol's and everything then I put a little bit of that on I actually put some in my hair on the ends helps my hair
Hi Cassandra I have a big concern or question. I am new on squalene by biossance .. but I stop on my regular night routine include ( acid hyaluronic, vitamin C and my retinol) how I can use all products without any issues on my face or what do you recommend.... GRACIAS I love your channel
Cassandra!!!! I think I may have been scammed from a skincare brand. Like 90% sure. Spent $135 on a peeling gel from this brand called Predire Paris. Have you heard of this brand? Maybe you can do a video on it to spread awareness so the same thing doesn't happen to others.
@@juhnetmickerdy yeah i saw that too! But what was even weirder was when I went online to look for reviews I saw that people who purchased from their stores had the EXACT same experience as me. The sales associate would lure them into their store, give them a demo of the product and reduce the price to half or lower to entice them to buy. The peeling gel I got was $300, but I paid only $135, plus she threw in a free full size body scrub to seal the deal. This company is so sketchy! I feel so stupid, I should have known better..
@@sahrashukri93 oh it was an in store deal? that’s even more interesting and definitely sounds sketchy! but hey you’re not stupid! We all have to learn one day that when it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Peeling gels are rather inexpensive and they all perform the same way!
I do love the biossance antioxidant cleansing oil Is the bomb and it don’t break the bank. It’s the only product of theirs I’ve tried because it’s the one I can afford. Using a different oil now and I still keep thinking about the bissamce. Does my current cleansing oil know I dream of another while I use it? Do you think I’m making it sad. Send help . 🙃
Check out Pipette Baby. It's a sister company to Biossance (same parent company) and they have many formulas that are similar to Biossance. Their vanilla baby lotion is the best lotion that I've ever used.
I LOVE the ordinary squalene cleanser! I have to use it in mornings when my skin is super angry from tretinoin. I have super dry skin so I use it as a first cleanser it’s soo good it always gets my sunscreen off. It’s nothing fancy but works amazing for me! I cannot use some other cleansers so 🤷♀️ Medik8 makes a fairlyyyy affordable vit c serum with an oil base called C tetra it’s 7% tetrahexal Vit C. Then they have a bit more expensive one C tetra Luxe that’s 14% of the same vitamin c
I use an ordinary 100% hemi-squalane in evening. It’s a different thing, I understand. But seems to be similar. It only seems to be easier, less oily and absorbs faster into skin. I can be wrong, just start to learn about ingredients. Correct me, please if I do🙏🏼
What are your thoughts on Squalane from sugarcane vs olives. Land use ethics of growing sugar cane vs olive growing range? Different processes for deriving and manufacturing squalane?
Has anyone ever used "Skinskool beauty" tool to compare ingredients in skincare products? Apparently the Omega hand creme is an almost exact replica of Biossance Omega creme. so i’ve been using the squalane product from good molecules for a while now and it’s pretty decent. i use it to lock everything in at the end of my routine, but i’m not in love with it. i think i’m going to try the pure am one you recommended here instead! i also want to try the biossance omega cream because i’m not in love with my night cream either. so stay tuned!!
The glow recipe plum plump hyaluronic cream is my favorite!! My skin loves it!! Also, I recently bought the ordinarys 2% retinoid in squalane and my skin loves it! It's definitely starting to clear up!!
I love Squalane! A great (and very affordable) option is the vanicream daily facial moisturizer. Squalane is the second ingredient
Would you share with us Ileana which brand of squalane omega cream you are impressed with please?
My husband uses all Biossance products. He ran out of the cream because of how effective it was.
Same! It’s sooo good 🤷♀️
8:50 was the kitten 👀
However.
I hate it on my face as well, it's just an oily mess and the results were not what I had hoped for
But I do agree, for my body it's perfect
The Biossane Omega cream is fantastic and it makes me feel fancy. Glad you like it too. ❤
Omega repair cream is my fav moisturiser of all time. It's the best. I wish it wasn't so expensive 😅
The ordinary retinol in squalane is how I got my skin ready for tret. Worked through the strengths over 6 months then started low dose tret. So great!
I found that set too can’t wait to try it!!
The ordinary's B Oil also has squalane as the 2nd ingredient and my skin loves it
I love it and use it day and night. One of my favorite skincare products ever.
Me too! My skin loves the B oil
Thank you!
Retinol, peptides. I like Renée Rouleau, her stuff is expensive but her blog is great.
It's a shame so many Tubers neglect taking about aging skin. Probably because most are younger and so are the majority of viewers.
That Biossance oil irritated my skin 😒 i wanted to love it too!!!! 😭
I love the biossance squalane and omega repair cream. It is great on my psoriasis
I have an unopened Plum Plump from Boxycharm recently and I wasn't excited about it because everything has hyaluronic acid so big deal about yet another one. Now that I know it has squalane, I'm really excited to use it!
Interesting video, I love squalane oil on my dry skin. 🥰
I have very oily acne prone skin and the Aprilskin Artemisia Squalane Hydra Gel Cream is just the best especially as a morning cream in the winter.
I love the new The Ordinary BHA serum, it has also squalane in it and is soooo good! Really wonder if you tried it already!
can u do best to worst pacifica products?
I love the omega cream. It pains me that it’s so expensive, but my skin loves it. I tried TO retinol in squalane and I didn’t like it at all, I’m not fan of oils. The Biossance eye cream (I know how you feel about eye creams 😊) it’s also very good. I love Biossance and most of the time I get good deals with rewards or just the samples they send that I think makes it worth
Pipette mineral SPF50 is great for dry skin, squalane based and dupe of Biossace mineral spf as they are owned by same company.
Bybi squalane with bakuchiol is my favorite squalane product. It's only two ingredients aka no citrus. I am allergic to oranges.
Hi I love your videos can you please make us a $10 or less skin care routine video
I just realized I worded this completely wrong can each product be $10 or less
Just gotta say, dang girl, your skin and hair look so glowy and beautimus today! Thanks for keeping it real and sharing all the info!
Beautimas was something my friends said in high school. It’s fun to see someone else use it.
I actually love the cleanser from the ordinary but I do have dry skin.
Cassandra im so excited about the Review from TATCHAAAAAAAAAA
Omg wtff the kitten is back I never noticeee damn Cass is so hypnotizing I only pay attention to her😂❤️🦋
Hi Cassandra, I love your videos, you are honest and spot on right. I wanted to ask you if you have done any videos for women in their 40s. I have oily skin specially I. The summers, and I would love a routine that you could recommend for women in their 40s. Thanks!
Cassandra! What do you think about the 100% Squalane Oil from Biossance??? I’ve been using it on my oily combo skin and it’s helped so much!!
I need double check these products to see if they are Brown skin friendly due to the hyperpigmentation I get to because of irritants in products.
What about The Ordinary 100% squalane oil? Why was this not mentioned but the cleanser was!
When using the Squalene Omega moisturizer, can I use my regular vitamin c undervit?? Or the ordinary buffet with copper peptides?? Or is it all just not necessary, and just use the cream on its own ,?? Thank you, as usual another great demo
My skin is garbage. Have been watching your videos for a while, still trying to get my skin under control.
Thank you 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💜 I use squalane daily. I've been using Timeless squalene for 2 years..but I'm super curious which ones you favor
Bruh I’m waiting for the day Cassandra has a skincare line. I’d literally empty my wallet
No joke!
I see it as 1,000 dollars 😳 way overpriced for what you get! I would never purchase anything from them.
You should try the make:prem moisturizers they're squalane based and are are great!
I'm curios how you feel about the Biossance Vitamin C + Squalane Dark Spot Serum versus the Vitamin C Rose Serum.
Vegan cacao? What does the regular one do? Barks?
I used it it's OK what I really like isNaturium retinal complex serum I love this product agrees with me
I LOVE the ordinary squalene cleanser!
I love The Ordinary cleanser as my morning cleanse and yes I have dry skin
I use an ordinary 100% hemi-squalane in evening. It’s a different thing, I understand. But seems to be similar. It only seems to be easier, less oily and absorbs faster into skin.
I can be wrong, just start to learn about ingredients. Correct me, please if I do🙏🏼
What are your thoughts on Squalane from sugarcane vs olives. Land use ethics of growing sugar cane vs olive growing range? Different processes for deriving and manufacturing squalane?
Agreed that the Boots cleaner is not good. It didn’t clean my face well for double cleansing and too watery for my liking.
i tried the ordinary squalane andd omg it makes my skin even drier than before😭😭😭.
The hidden kitty is around the 8:51 mark I te video.
Has anyone ever used "Skinskool beauty" tool to compare ingredients in skincare products? Apparently the Omega hand creme is an almost exact replica of Biossance Omega creme. I also found a 100% replica of skinceuticals CE ferulic acid which is perfect for 30$. It is a pretty great tool. Would recommend.
I love me some Biossance 💚💚💚💚💚
Are use the ordinary retinol squalane that's pretty good
