Cool! so for me i'd be good with one filter for about 10 years .... crazy. I bet thats the same filter as my jetski/wheeler... and they are every 2 years, but pretty clean environment in the winter.

I have about 16,000 miles on this Apex I've been using Mobil 1 0w 30 synthetic oil but I just switched to yamalube 0 34 stroke semi synthetic reason is is because I got to drive 40 miles to get to mobile one I thought I'd save him money but actually my dealers only 5 miles from me so I'm not really spending much more plus the trust of the yama lube for stroke oil. I did do my initial break in oil filter change I changed my oil about 2,000 miles but then I changed my oil and filter at 12000 and now I've been changing the oil either two years or 2000 miles whichever comes first

Great video! How much oil does it take exactly when changing it this way?

Put 2qts in it. Run it for 5 minutes. Check. Add about another 1/2 at check. Should take about 3 total.

@@markus4434 I have found that if you drain the block and check the screen as Well as oil filter 3.2L is what I need in contrast to the 3.0 the manual says. I’m not going to do the oil filters on my apex’s next year. I’m guessing 3.0 will Be good in contrast to the manuals 2.8.

What screen are you talking about? And where’s it located? Thanks!

The screen is in that nipple on the bottom of your tank you have to undo the nipple at the hoses attached to and there's a screen up inside there
