    Awesome video! Do you have the snapon part number of the small t handle torque wrench? That thing is pretty sweet.

      Thanks Turbo and thanks for stopping to check out the video. 👍🏼 The Snapon part# is ATECHMS80FK for the 1/4” torque screwdriver.

      @@nxtgen2b416 Nice.. One of the things I love about the Cat is the power out of that Yamaha motor. Especially now that it has the Hurricane Performance Cluster flash 😉

    Isn’t there a drain plug next to the oil filter underneath the belly pan to drain what’s in the motor as well? Also, aren’t you replacing the filter?

      Hey Ryan,
      Thanks for stopping by the channel to check out the video.
      Yes, there is a drain plug underneath next to the oil filter. I didn’t show a complete oil/filter change as that wasn’t what the video was about, so I didn’t record that part and post it. 👍🏼 Take Care.

    Great video, I'm watching your videos, just got a 2023 Sidewinder LTX GT-EPS! I also have a 2011 Apex with 20K miles on it! Are you in Maine?

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  2 роки тому

      Hey Robert, Thanks for checking out the video 👍🏼 Awesome that you just got the ‘23 Sidewinder LTX GT-EPS. They’re a beautiful sled. Have you gotten to ride the new sled yet? I love the power steering and why I went to the big T-cat. I use to own a ‘06 Apex GT. 👍🏼That was one smooth running motor. No I’m not in Maine but love upper Maine area now. We rode up there in the middle of last March as that’s when my sled finally came in and there was no snow left here in Upstate NY. Stay Tuned, I have some more great videos coming soon. Take Care

      @@SometimeIsNow I just got the Sidewinder and I have 0 miles on it! I will be going to Maine soon with The Sidewinder and Apex in tow! I'm learning all I can about the Sidewinder since i do all my own work! The Apex has been so reliable, and I'm finding out all these issues people are having with their YamaCats, that I'm preparing to have to deal with it! I have already done "The Rivnuts" for the lower panels, and made some removable pneumatic wheels/tires for getting the sled around my property.

      Hey pdh, Thanks for stopping by to check out the video. It’s greatly appreciated. Thank you, they’re all the tools I’ve acquired over the last 36+ yrs of being in maintenance. I’ve always been the guy who will take the money that I’d spend paying someone else to repair something and spend that money on the tool or tools to do it myself. Gives me a reason to buy more tools. 😂 It’s a sickness I tell ya.. Take Care. 👍🏼

    I know that procross chasis is older but what would it cost Cat to make this a stock setup? Crazy, I know Polaris has its problems but I can rip my Indy 850 apart in minutes!! Polaris cheaper out on a chaincase plug though... But as far as Post season maintenance I change every bearing, grease all of my mainway solutions bushings,slides and ready to go 👍👍👍 Everyone is jonesing for a little snow 😆Give Riley a belly rub from all your Dog lovin' subscribers...

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  2 роки тому

      Yeah, I agree. Each brand has its plus’s and minus’s when it comes to maintenance. I’m really enjoying learning new things about working on the Arctic Cat. I have never owned one so it’s something new to me. I’m close to finishing editing my next upgrades video for the T-cat. I don’t think anyone can honestly say anything negative about the Yamaha 998, It’s bulletproof and so easily tuned over 300+ hp if you desire. A couple items in the chaincase is the weak points and I’ve upgraded everything known that could possibly fail, so I should be good to go now. I’ll give Riley a couple belly rubs and a scratch behind the ears. 👍🏼 Take Care buddy
