What bourbons are you tasting these days?
Objective yet subjective.
Really helpful! Thank you for posting. I'd been wondering why bourbons I was tasting seemed to have a different flavor profile than what others might have reviewed, and realize there really is no "wrong answer". I often add a small ice cube to my bourbon, but will have to experiment to see what it 'taste' like if I added more water. Not that I'd want to do that all the time, but am now curious.
Bit irrelevant, but what shirt is Will wearing?
Glad you asked - we like it too. This flannel by Corridor: corridornyc.com/products/grey-check-flannel-ls

But, you are still watering down the whiskey which in turn changes the flavor.
I personally like it as high a proof as possible, straight from the bottle into a glass at room temperature with out water or ice.
Now you are tasting the whiskey.
