The thoughts and opinions in this video are my own. I'm not, and will never be, paid to influence my opinion on any whisky or product I review. My palate isn't perfect, and we're all learning everyday... Whisky is a journey, I'm just bringing you along for the ride!

Great video ben, im a bit of a whisky drinking soloist amongst my beer drinking mates, but maybe a beginners' whisky tasting session might get things happening with them. Thanks for the idea.
Great content, Ben.
Thanks for sharing.
An extra thing you can do is of one of the drams (preferablythe first one, so as the start of the tasting):
- a glass round: pour a dram in a tumbler and one in a glencairn
- a (non) water round: compare the same dram with and without water side by side (so two glasses with the same dram).
Slàinte mhath
Noted.... good ones, Frank 👍

Hi Ben, good video. Interesting tips indeed. Nice one, slàinte.
Now THAT is how it's done. Cracking vid mate. Sláinte.
Good tips for any budding tasting host!
This video is superb. So useful. Cheers bud. Also getting used to you without headwear😂
Bloody great video! Thanks!
My friends are not that into whisky so I’m thinking about a tasting which shows the amazing variety in some way…
A tasting for beginners could be:
Unpeated-no sherry
Unpeated-sherry
Peated-no sherry
Peated-sherry
And a 5th special one depending on how it goes and what they like…
Cheers!
Thank you for the video! 🍻 Which bottles would you present on a beginner tasting event (scotch focused, but a few exceptions are acceptable) with eight bottles?
Good video with important tips. I HAVE A QUESTION: Should we annoy the guests about letting the whisky breathe a little or should we just let them dive straight in even if you know that particular dram absolutely needs time in the glass?
AHH! NSFW. Why is your hair naked?!
