I couldn't believe how comfortable this car is. I was so impressed, I almost leased it, but I am addicted to the Grand Cherokee Overland models. The GV80 is killing it good. I swear, I would not buy an MB or an Audi, after driving this one. Good job !!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad to see they have left perfection alone and not changed anything in the 2024. I have the 2023 GV80 3.5T Prestige in Himalayan grey and Dune interior like in the video. Love this car it's a real head turner.
Greetings from Sydney Australia. I've ordered exactly this vehicle (same colour scheme inside and out - except mine will have the 3 litre diesel engine). Waiting on delivery which I was advised is around 12 months. Ordered it 6 months ago, 6 months to wait ... if their timing estimate is correct. Nice video, thanks for sharing it.
@@alfitty Well that's a direct question. It's not hard to work out - ordered as new vehicle direct from Genesis and they don't offer discounts (a bit like Apple and some other companies), so list price same as anyone else would pay. Plus on roads, taxes, dealer delivery. Not sure if you are from Australia but those are pretty much fixed costs, although a little variation in registration and compulsory 3rd party (CTP) insurance which is part of registration (in NSW anyway).
@@stuartread135 sorry for the direct question. I am from Sydney too. Was just asking in general that's all. Your anonymous here so no need to worry mate, but thanks for your answer. I have been looking at the 2024 genesis gv80 seen few videos on UA-cam have a look at some videos especially the bright orange one they are using to promote the new model. Looks insane.
@@alfitty No worries all good. Yeah the orange one is the Coupe version. A bit more sporty in terms of the seats and interior. I am a big guy 6'9" tall and found the GV-80 the best (although not perfect) in terms of ergonomics, found it better in that regard than Audi, BMW, Volvo, Mercedes and the rest. And getting to my mid 50s an easier car to get in and out of than my low set HSV Senator VX which I've had for 20 years would be nice. Won't be as quick as the HSV but these days I just want something comfortable, safe and reliable and good for golf trips and whatever else I want to do with it. So hopefully will meet those expectations. When mine finally comes there will be some extras like paint protection, dash cam, tow bar and similar. And maybe an extra / spare wheel.
This unit is exactly my spec. The only extras I need is independent heatig, HD fully covering floormats, towig package and 18" wheels with 60% tires sidewall.
@@blacksunshine489 It will be in no time. Toyota already has solid state batteries that go 750 miles. They will come to the market in 2028. Technology will change everything.
Exterior and interior shots just scream quality, absolutely beautiful and at the height of excellence in finishes and design. Three little niggles, the tail light needs to be lifted 8cm to be in line with more raised side character line, wheels a little gimmicky compared sophistication of rest of vehicle, and the center top screen looks a little add-on and needs to be more integrated. These points to my taste, but overall a sensational and desirable car for anyone. Beats current European choices.
I didn't like there is no latch to the trunk area. Should have made it smaller to add more leg room in the back. Love the side blinkers. And the chrome stripes at bottom. Is different on the vents at the front but if it keeps you comfortable is stylish. The front seatbelts didn't see them used so look strange. I get scared of automatic backing up. But is cool in tight spots. Very nice SUV.
Definitely not worth the price for a Hyundai…also whats with the peanut butter interior…yucky Also the screen in in a horrible place…I have to say the look of this vehicle is very nice…
To bad…just an amazing car, owners are generally totally happy. You will eventually get use to it I suppose… remember Lexus, infinity, even Acura for their suv…

We just purchased a 23 gv80 prestige and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I enjoy driving so much that I don’t drive my truck near as much
I have the 2024 Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige, I bought it for my wife as her retirement car. Considering buying another for myself.
Beautiful Masterpiece!
If Genesis offered the ultrmarine blue/dune interior in the Electrified GV70, I'd buy one tomorrow.
Hi, GV70 EV INTERIOR COLOUR : Obsidian Black Monotone or Glacier White Two-Tone
Absolutely stunning! The only vehicle I would consider as an upgrade to my GX460.

Good luck in retirement.
