Stair risers looking good, could barely make out the seam on my monitor. The gazebo is just awesome dood, making me so jelly. Mess of wires hanging out of the wall next to the blue wire (network?) driving me nuts trying to figure out what that's all about... Looking great...
They have not quite made the seams completely disappear yet Phil, but they think they are going to get close. The blue wires are network cables. We have put ethernet cable everywhere, to try to reduce reliance on wifi. A lot of the security cameras will be PoE so they all need cables, and then we want access points in as many places as possible. Mostly Cat 6 with some Cat 6A for longer runs.
MIKE! Hope you having a great Saturday and nothing has gone wrong today...guess we will find out tomorrow. So I just had a cup of coffee, coz well, it was coffee o'clock. Then I noticed...it's THAT TIME! So away go we...... How do you fix a damaged jack-o-lantern? You use a pumpkin patch! 🎃🤣🎃🤣🎃🤣🎃🤣
James Actually the worst came after I finished filming. The tail of the storm was considerably worse, although fortunately still no damage, apart from one big plant pot that blew over and smashed
Hello again, I have a suggestion for you regarding the windows that are to be converted to sliding in the kitchen, can you ask your manager if it is possible to convert the windows with something similar to the air pumps that are on the luggage lid of cars and then attach them if necessary a little further out on the windowsill, I think the people there in PH are incredibly good at finding solutions (just a thought from me) greetings from an autumn day in Norway N B.M 😀
Actually Nils, Graeme's Cebu Philippines suggested the same thing, but I think the new windows are already being made, so that horse may have bolted. Really appreciate the suggestion though
Mike if you really need the butcher block, I may be able to help you out, my door maker will on set building all my doors ,and I do have a lot of har wood boars. If your interested send me a pm. Stay dry we had a maganda downpour. 👍🧢
Thanks for the offer Mike, but now there is also a time factor - I want to get this place done without adding to delays. One of the issues would have been to get the thickness of the wood to exactly match the height of the granite, and I suspect this could be quite time consuming. So going to keep it simple and go all granite apart from the breakfast bar bit, which the builder should be able to do
Think you are right Patrick. Managed to find a few online suppliers, although as is often the case here, they are mostly totally unresponsive, even on their own online contact sections !
Looking at the front of the there's one window to the left of the front entrance that doesn't have tile underneath it and it looks a bit out of place not symmetrical with the rest of the house
The foreman does not allow slacking, and throughout the build has got rid of people who he felt were not pulling their weight. Most of these guys have been working for our builder for quite a while, and he always has other projects they can move to.
Your home is looking great I bet you both can’t wait to move in 😊
Getting close hopefully. Patience is a virtue - so they say, but what nonsense.

Thanks for the shout outs. You won’t be disappointed with the water specialist.
No problem. He did come to see us a couple of months ago, and really did seem to know what he was talking about.

Most carpet would be in Manila where high end people live.

Rodney Dangerfield live?
American pop culture reference I assume - sorry I only can relate to Monty Python !

Absolutely right, but actually we like the fact that it is a little asymmetrical !
What I seen is they want to do what they want ( pick the work ) as the job is ending, soon to be out of work. Good Luck
