It's flying great Brent. The doors and cooling flaps are nice, needed too(well, one of'em anyway :). The paint scheme will send it over the top. AirHammer out!!
Brilliant modeling and brilliant flying...encouraging about the use of gyros; I'm going to have to program mine in my 6 meter scale sailplane. You've truly done a meticulous job and evolved this rc aircraft to its absolute best!
Say would it be possible to talk? I have the Jerry Bates 86 inch bearcat and I’m getting ready to fly here in a couple weeks. Couple questions I need to ask and I was wondering if you could help me out
I’m going to mount electric motor on the front swinging probably 26 or 28 for blade. It’s a reduction gear system or a belt driven system I would say but my question is Down thrust and right thrust and if so, how many degrees of down and how many degrees of right the plans show I believe it’s 4° and zero right thrust but I’ve had a lot of different opinions, but yours seems to fly
It had no gyro before. But ive done enough custom as3x setups to know tgat the synapse is on amother level. And i have just scratched the surface of its capabilities

Awesome, its worth it for the ground handling.
Wow - you just keep making that Bearcat look and behave more realistic ! Well done ! Wanna sell it ? Ha.
That would look sweet in the Blue Angels scheme.
Great flight Bro! I have a Synapse waiting in the shop to be put in something. I may put it in my 85" Edge...
You wont be dissapointed!
Looks fantastic and has great presence
Thanks man! In person its insane lol

Dooood! you really have that thing dialed now! So sweet! Time for the gravy paint job!
YESSS!!! Great job, that plane is getting dialed in for sure my friend!
Yessir....next...paint shop!
This model has come a long way. Like the exhaust rig… will go a long way toward engine longevity. Anxious to see final paint.

Whats up?

Wish i had real measurements for you. I just eye balled mine
that prop needs more pitch the engine is reving to high, needs a bit more load on it
I like the scale speed. I dont think its over revving per say. I also dont want to load it too much and run into over heating issues
😎😎
Do u feel like the synapses algorithm is more refined compared to as3x? Did u swap from an AS3X receiver or just no stabilization?
It had no gyro before. But ive done enough custom as3x setups to know tgat the synapse is on amother level. And i have just scratched the surface of its capabilities
DO you really need a gyro in a bearcat, a me-109 sue but ?
Need..no. but like i said. Smoothes things out in the wind. Just makes everything better
What engine you have on this plane?
Dle 222
@@hechtspeed Wow, you mean that 4 cylinder giant? The engine alone is 5kg.
