What kind of suspension you running? I want to do the same kenny brown setup but have no idea what coil overs should i run.
Nice model and flight! The best is the sound with this scale delay between throttle stick pushed full forward until achieving full rpm from the turbine for the go around.
Thats impressive that it high alphas that well with a 7000. I need to do the same mod to get the battery even further back on mine.

Also, I assume one of the reasons for Priority is to provide a way for the gyro gains to decrease to zero at or before full stick deflection when flying in low rates. With the old default of 160, you could lower the dual rates to 40% and the gain would decrease to zero at full stick deflection. In high rates (100%), the gain would decrease to zero at 40% of stick deflection. Since I never use a rate lower than 50%, I've been setting the Priority to 150. The new default of 140 makes the gain decrease to zero at 60% of travel/stick deflection. In SAFE mode, the angle limits don't work correctly unless the transmitter is sending 100% travel. This is why I put the receiver's flight modes channel on my rate switch (B). It gives me low rates with AS3X, high rates with AS3X, and SAFE mode with high rates (100%). Since SAFE mode is always set to 100% travel, I set the Priority for that flight mode to 100. And actually, I could set the Priority in the other two flight modes to match the travel, but I just leave them set to 150. I'm not sure I could see any difference as long as the gyro gain decreases to zero at full stick deflection.
Hey there Hecht. I really enjoyed your Bearcat videos. That is a beautiful airplane and just happens to be my brother-in-laws favorite airplane. His name is Greg and my other brother-in-law Chad loves the F6F Hellcat. I think you may know them.
Anyone else had issues with the new as3x+ causing the ele an rud center to move where the plane was climbing an rudder causing the plane to roll left hard I thought it was just me but I flew 3 other planes that I had upgraded and were otherwise mechanically trimmed and minimal digital trim and they were all the same rudder to the left and claimed like crazy I had to re trim 4 planes that were trimmed fine and they have all had as3x + since the firmware update came out

Awesome review! I have the 4S panther, and it's incredible for such a small jet. Probably holding out in hopes FW or someone does an 80 or 90mm. I have the Cougar, and yes it is a bit pricey but the features including the gyro (which works well just with the default setting) makes it worth it, but..just something about that straight wing, I really prefer it. That pack you fly is HUGE! Amazed at how slow it lands -:)
I told them 2 years ago to come out with a 80 or 90mm ,but it fell on def ears I guess.

Yeah, us boomers love the F9F Panther, I guess because of “The Bridges at Toko-Ri”. Someone really should make an 80mm version with lights. I get 4 minutes with a 4000 mAh pack. Mine will suddenly quit flying and drop during the flare, but it doesn’t drop a wingtip. I use an AR8360T and enabled reverse; however, it’s not that effective. If any surfaces move too far, I make sure the linkage is in the outer hole on the control horn and then move the linkage in on the servo arm. I don’t like to decrease the throw in my transmitter. I would rather have the power with it just as quiet. The Exhaust Tips wouldn't bother me any. Thanks for showing that this could be easily installed in the driveway w/o paying someone $100/hour x 3 to install. Installed these w/i a few months of ownership.

We got this bulletin for G5 users, apparently it helps resolve the blowback issues during the critical start up phase. Another bulletin for G5 operations! Please consider install your engine +-1/2" closer into the pipe. This will prevent exhaust blow back from the bellmouth during critical phases of G5 quick start. The exhaust at this stage is highly combustible and often time resulting in damaged engine or burned up airplane. G5 rough and fail starts are often a result of the ingestion of this gas. Maybe worthwhile repositioning the engine.

I would like to build one with an EDF unit. Would you be so kind as to measure the rear exhaust outlet of the fuse. Everything hinges on if the outlet is big enough.

The carbon looking material is not CF. Regular satellites work just fine in this model.

Nice flight !! 👍🏻 if you go to trim settings you can use 3 point trim on the throttle so you don’t have to hold the trim up or down so much .. 3 clicks up and it’s ready to start 3 clicks down and it will shut down ..

Looks like you need a bigger tail pipe, or a smaller turbine. If it sucks in too much smoke or can't push enough air out the pipe during startup it'll abort start.
@@greatplanesman i was the one who aborted the start. Sometimes it starts just fine. I dont think kt quite has the software for the start sequemce fully sorted out.

I like the V1 colors as that's the one I have. Orange, White and Blue are the traditional colors of "RC" The V1 being Ultracote I could always dress it up Military style, should one day I get sick and tired of Orange White and Blue. Jeff Holsinger made a video about the printed on skin of the V2 is sensitive to various solvents and they can easily damage the covering. So be carful V2 owners when washing it down, use water and soap.
