I’m so happy to see this young lady and Baloo have found each other. There are so many dogs in shelters that need a forever home. These dogs are so sad till they see someone come to their cage and play with them for a few seconds, you can see in their face that they need human companionship to bring out their love. Congratulations young lady in finding the best friend you will ever have.

Dear bella, I lost a black cat I had for 18 years who traveled the world with me. It was like losing a son. I'm so glad you're getting the love you deserve. I rescued 2 new black cats a brother and sister, and am getting love from them. God is good to me.

@@machinebp23 Not really, it depends on your personality. I am not a people person, nor is my husband. We prefer to spend time with our animals and our young adult children. One of our children is a social butterfly and the other is like us. I find people draining, and the ones that I like the best have a great sense of humor. Everyone is different.

The unconditional love / non-judgmental trait of pets never ceases to inspire me to complain less, act better, be generous and love more.

Struggling with anxiety and depression is a daily battle but every night you go to bed having struggled through it that day just reinforces your strength. You did it yesterday...you can do it today. As soon as my dog was no longer living with us, my pressure hasn't been the same, and if I see one even close to looking like him, I start crying. It's been 13 years, and it feels like it was yesterday. I don't care what breed they are, I love them.

3 Dogs changed my life: The first one was a German Shepard and I met him when I was really young. The second one was a Pitbull: while I was standing near by the underground and my black thought were killing me, she jumped on me and she licked my face. The owner said to me that he was surprised by her reaction since the dog was apparently really reserved but I knew why she came toward me. The last is a Rottie and while I was helping a shelter an employee gave me this beauty in my hands. I was pretty scared but I knew that I needed to be there without having PTSD affecting my personality. He managed and he loved me so much. DOGS are the best friend for us.
I didn't notice the 2018 date until I was 2/3 through the vid. Here's hoping that young pack is still going strong and may they be long lived.

My dog helped me for the first time a more than a year ago when I was hyperventilating from lack of sleep and I couldn't catch my breath. He put his mouth to mine and would lick my face and it helped. He still does it even if someone is just coughing he tries to give them his breath. He's amazing 🥰

Its sad that in this day in time that the topic of mental illness is still a taboo subject. I suffered alone for years with my depression and bi-polar disorder, nothing seemed to help. I tried medication, therapy and unfortunately compulsive drinking. Walking into my local shelter I didn't know what to expect, but I walked out with my new best friend. Shelby my new pit was afraid of everything and it was only through working to help her overcome her fears I worked through my problems too. Never underestimate the power of a dog!

yes, a pittie saved my life. was a 4 hour drive back with her and she sat quietly and scared in the backseat. 30 minutes later she slowly licked the entire car, including the steering wheel, dashboard, and my entire face, arms and hair. She then went into happy mode and stayed that way for 4 years. She saved me. And i agree, depression and mental health issues need to be dealt with and accepted as a normal part of the human experience. If i told my boss i had a cold and needed a doctor nobody would bat an eye. so whats the difference if i say i need to see a therapist? happy for you and what a great story!

I am fighting depressions since a long time and all doctors, medicine or whatever didn't help...
I want to have a dog since decades but it wasn't possible because my husband and I worked full time.
In may 2009 I couldn't work anymore cause of my depressions...
My husband knew that I would love to have a dog and behind my back he'd contacted our local shelter to ask if they had a big dog who's nice with kids and cats.
And they had...
On a saturday he said come on let's go to the shelter and let's visit the dogs...
And they had 4 dogs for our needs...
We went to every kennel and in the last one there were 4 dogs...
There was a big black and white dog with long fur and this one turned around and ran like the wind directly into my arms...
This was our crazy Daisy ❣💝❣
It was love at first sight for everybody and we adopted her this day 😍😍😍
Our giant baby girl was the sweetest soul ever. She loved everybody and everything and she was very funny and so energetic - of course she was just 7 months old...
Life with that giant love bug was wonderful and she made us so happy. My depressions went in the background and I was really really happy.
She was my best friend, my shadow, my soulmate and my all...
Until august 2019... She was diagnosed with a very aggressive type of cancer and her complete stomach area was filled with tumors...
The vet made a surgery to get the milt out and found this huge mass of tumors...
She said it would be the best if she wouldn't wake up again cause she maybe had 4 - 8 weeks left and this in pain...
Our world shattered in one second...
It felt like they killed our child...
The following year was a very sad and horrible time and I had to fight my demons again...
And my husband did it again !
He was looking for a new dog and he found Marley...
He was found at a dumpster in Greece and he was afraid of men and very anxious in the beginning...
I wasn't sure if I could love him but I do ❣❣❣
He is a sweet, gentle and beautiful border collie mix and he is mom's boy 😍😍😍
Honestly I must say that Daisy will be our number one forever cause she was the greatest gift of all so sweet, so kind and the biggest cuddle baby ever.
But it must be like that cause Marley is another dog with different behaviour and that's okay.
Fact is that dogs are the best beings on this planet and their love is unconditional and unbelievable. Who never had a dog never felt this very special love and the trust...
We miss you so much wonderful baby girl but I promise we will be together again for all times and nothing can separate us anymore.

I know what you’re talking about exactly, that feeling, nigella was my kindred spirit the connection was so strong and soul deep (we adopted her when she was older) and I was gifted love and this deeper connection and with her pups and the love for them is incredible and beautiful.
