@@natesclassiccars1 That wasn't the question I wanted to know how much YOU were selling it for???? Besides what goofball in their mind cares about that anyway? Nobody's asking you who bought it
That's insane!!!...Nice job brother...I'm restoring a matching numbers 1969 GTO Judge right now .400ci,Muncie Rockcrusher four speed,10 bolt posi rear.. Hugger Orange with a white and black interior!!.Built at the Baltimore plant where my mother's father worked from 1953 to 1982.....so he surely helped build this car?....!!!😮
I remember back in high school, mid 80's,trying to get my father to help me get (buy)this exact car, same everything, that was for sale in the Carolina Trader for $2,500.00! I wasn't able to get it for lack of funds but years later he said he didn't want me to have anything that fast.Yeah,he was fine with the Trans Ams but the mustang no way!
Wow, what a car...is the compression ratio the same in the '71 as the '69 and '70 SCJ? One minor point, the Ford 9 inch rear end did not come with the ratio of 4.11:1, it came with a 4.10:1.
11.3:1 compression. It is the same as my 70 429cj (Mercury Cyclone Spoiler). If it is like mine, it does not like anything less than 93 octane with octane boost.
OMG, you are right. I do that all the time in my 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler w/429cj 4spd and no power steering or power brakes. When I am trying to get around in a parking lot at a car show, I look like I am wrestling a bear with intermittent honkings. 🤣🤣🤣
For many years, the '71-'73 Mustangs didn't do much for me. Now I love them. This a beautiful car. Wish I had it.
I agree, same for me. Thank you!
Beautiful
Thank you!
I happen to like the body style....looks exotic, especially with ram air and 429SCJ! I'll bet is was one of the fastest Mustangs of that era!
I agree with you! Definitely one of the fastest in the era!
There was time were i liked the older mustangs, let me know if you are very willing to part with it. Gorgeous!
Thank you! Unfortunately I have already sold this one.
@@natesclassiccars1 HOW MUCH WAS IT????
@@WisdomOverWicked777Rules per the buyers request he asked not to release it.

Thank you! Good luck with your restoration, super cool car and even better story with your grandpa working there. Doesn't get much better than that!
The 429 SCJ is essentially a Boss 429 without the heads.

4.10 was Chevy. All my Ford tests and original Muscleparts Supplements say it's 4.11 with SCJ.

@@clevlandblock Nope...the Chevy 12 bolt came with 4.11:1, the Ford 9 inch gears came as 4.10:1.
@@stevefowler2112 my next door neighbor had a 69 428 Cobra jet with 411 gears this was in the late 70s
love how the vast majority of cars on your channel are 4 speeds! nothing worse than an automatic muscle car
From one Nate to another, I appreciate it! 4 speeds make it fun!
@@natesclassiccars1 Nothing like driving an American (especially a Ford) muscle car with a 4-speed.
How much does a car like this restored matching no,s 429 SCJ DP sell for?.
Buyer would rather not make it public. Feel free to reach out personally and I can get an idea the price of this special car
@@natesclassiccars1 HOW MUCH ORIGINALLY???? YOU MEAN (((YOU))) DON'T WANT TO SAY
No PS but has rim-blow wheel = unintended horn honking as you fight the rudder.
Haha you are correct. Happens too often!
@@natesclassiccars1 I had a new 70 Cougar 351C with rim-blow. Even with PS, I had some unwanted honks, usually during hard maneuvers.

I suppose that it's gone 😕
Yes, I have sold it.
great car except that's its fugly, god almighty that's worst looking muscle car of all time
Not everyone’s favorite but they are becoming a lot more popular here recently.
Each to their own
After 1970, Mustangs were slugs........ugly slugs!
