As the winter cold pierces through you, you find warmth in your outfit looking at the desolate landscape as the snow drops down. The howling winds are the only noise you can hear, and you wonder if they are saying something to you.
You wanna know something cool? My uncle who got me into ambient at a young age I saw over the holidays. We talked about some of the ambient artists we like (Carbon Based Lifeforms, Loscil etc.) and I said about you and the Pool Rooms, and how your Silent Hill mixes gets me through the work day, and your albums get me through sleep at night. Then he said he recognised the name, pulled up his phone and when through his albums and showing me Pool Rooms etc. It was just a really pleasant moment. Once again and always. Thank you.

During December I dealt with a lot of drama, illness and a whole lot of stress that ruined my Christmas. I remember Christmas day. I put on a brave face to not worry my family. they saw through the façade and they where worried too. I was ill and tired. I discovered this vid that day. I listened and rested. It made me feel a lot better. I listened to this vid for the rest of the month and even into early January. It helped me get though it. I feel a lot better now. I hope this vid helped other people too. I hope the new years is treating you well too.
