Yeah Wizz has been a bracket demon for Amsa for so long, not only does Wizzy play one of Yoshi's harder MUs but he plays the character in 64 so he fundamentally knows the character. AmSa could have taken this set a few times but it was a great set nonetheless
Wizzy plays this matchup quite well. I recently faced nez in an online bracket and I kinda came to a realization that you can't play normally against Yoshi. As Falcon, you want to throw out aerials so bad and be in the air but in this MU that gets you killed. Wizzy played super grounded and respected Yoshi's DJ armor. He CC'd when he could, took pressure on shield well, and got clutch stomps, bairs, and nairs. Holding shield isn't that bad because what is Yoshi going to do? Grabbing as Yoshi is super risky so most of the time you can take the aerial assault on your shield and escape with roll. Great set and gameplan from Wizzy. GGs.
Wonder why aMSa doesn't use short hop dair more with Yoshi. The move is just so good in general, but the amount of times he was able to pile up shield pressure and reduce wizzy's shield to a mini skittle was insane and if he had followed any of those interactions up with a short hop dair instead of short hop / double jump cancel nair or up air he would've gotten lots more damage if not a shield break. Then again, I'm not the #1 ranked Yoshi player and I'm sure he has his reasons, just seems like it would be a good option after he's applied a bit of his signature lightning fast shield pressure. I'd love to see him do his usual oppressive double jump cancelled zig-zag aerials then follow up with a down air to shield break or just get that juicy ~30%
The startup on d-air makes it pretty risky to use against falcons like wizzy, and amsa's the type to stick to his flowchart movement more often than not. I would like to see someone try this against wizzy though, he shields so much more in this matchup than I'm used to. I think amsa's just consistent enough to make djc n-airs just as (if not more) advantageous on shield. Forcing a roll while being active as soon as n-air lets you seems like it could lead to a better opening than a shield poke d-air in a lot of situations.
why is it ok for puff to rest but not falcon to punch? I never see people punch when it would be worth the risk since its high knockback and has less of a punish than rest
I mean, I agree he’s amazing, he’s my favourite player too, but should players who basically never compete be put on the rankings..? That’s like saying a retired player who plays a few times a year for fun should be ranked just because they’re good, you know? Hopefully he plays more often
Viruses are transmitted between humans in respiratory droplets large enough to be blocked. It's not guaranteed protection, but nor is it "security theater".
@@nuave Covid, like the Flu is a respiratory virus and is spread via aerosols (essentially tiny water droplets) which if you are infected contain the virus. It's these particles that are caught by the face mask. The effectiveness depends on the material and if they are single or double layered but even a cloth mask will help. Wizzy seems to be wearing one of the higher standard ones but even Amsa seems to be wearing a surgical mask; both reduce your chance of catching an infection. @9:50 Wizzy Malfunction after clutch round
Amazing reverse mains set

Reverse mains?
They've been fucking up the thumbnails a lot lately
Maybe because they went bankrupt?
Let’s go wizzy!
First you get aMSa and n0ne mixed up and now again? How do you guys keep screwing up the thumbnails and titles lol

I'm still mad wizzy was left off the 2023 summer rankings; we all know this man easily sits in the top 20, probably even the top 10

COVID is going around. Helps if you don't want to be sick for an upcoming event or just don't want to get sick?
why do you care
