Marty, was an instructor at a hockey camp I went to at the University of Michigan. This is before he made it to the NHL. Red Baron's hockey camp was the name I believe. He was an absolutely awesome coach and made it fun for everyone. Made me skate laps around the rink at full speed with a group of about 30 people behind me, chasing me until I finally couldn't do it anymore.. . I'll never forget that and getting to play hockey at Yost Ice Arena at U of M. Marty is a hell of a guy, good family man and amazing goalie.
Thanks for bringing on the nicest human being I've ever talked to. I'll never forget meeting him, Q, Kane, and Sharp after a shootout win in Atlanta (I don't think he played though. Pretty sure Crawford did) when I was recovering from a traumatic brain injury, he was the nicest guy in the world so it's always great to see him!
A goalie myself, can't help to love your goalie interviews. From the story of how we immigrated to the land between the pipes to how we are viewed in the dressing room. Most importantly, what it takes to make it to The Show. Few of us make it. All of us dream of just one period of action. Hully's shot, from the goalie perspective, answers all our questions. Hockey rules.
Ha! Not sure about this because of Joe’s array of guests with fascinating backgrounds nothing similar to the last but for avid hockey fans I’m sure this is on par.
If you're only looking for hockey than yes. But if you're looking for how to talk and learn abt stuff and actually think then your statement is as dumb as you are.

Great content as usual. Turco's a great guy. Biz is out of it. Biziness as usual. I hope you get some of my favorite finnish boys on some time. I guess Selänne just put out a book.

Still find it weird they always talk about school over junior for kids that aren’t the next superstar but never talk about how CHL teams will cover cost of school and I believe it’s one years tuition for each year you’re with the team
Seems like a nice guy. A little defensive in some of his answers but nice guy. Would be curious to know how many people hated Avery. Seems like a complete goof
The Eddie Belfort replacement, that could never put it together for a Cup run. The Stars were at there best when they poached other teams for their goalie talent. They aren’t the only ones. Young franchises have a difficult time coaching up or evaluating elite goalkeeping prospects.

I was lucky enough to meet Marty at the Hockey Heroes in Moncton N.B and get an autograph jersey. Really great guy.

Thank you sir!
Turks was old school, in you REALLY didn't want to get in his crease. Do it at your own peril. Total beauty.
Thanks Grinnell for putting up all the full vids
Keep these interviews coming and especially guys playing in Europe and KHL with great stories
This was awesome! Could you boys please try and get Mike Modano on!
I love Stephane Robidas
Sorry, but I'm glad someone asked about the Datsyuk goal. Still remember where I was when I saw it and just yelled out "holy shit!"
Nice, Tech offered a scholarship.

Remember that one time, celebrities sang Imagine?
Would be great to hear stories from Hitch's perspective.
I love how the one guy was wearing his slippers
Can't get Boikeys in Canada.....Fail Biz

Ed Belfour had amazing backup goalies.
You pronounced it wrong....in Edmonton it’s pronounced TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Future guest for Spittin Chiclets (Dominic Hasek)
lol I wonder if they brought up the datsyuk goal?
Yep around 52m
Turco is alpha as fuck
why do i feel Biz is channeling young Mark Wahlberg for the ads at the beginning.
Turks is probably the most normal goalie lol. He's not crazy or insane, and I respect that.
Why is whit wearingn those slippers lol
Turco got robbed for the Vezina in 2003.
Got a big enough joint there biz

Correct me if I’m wrong though I wasn’t a school guy or a major junior guy
RA takes a lot of heat but he knows shit!!
He's shit and asks the most trivial shit. He holds these interviews back
The joke about insurance at the end is sad, because it's true.
Why can’t they just use lapel mics? Why the Dave Hodge 🎤
yeah or at least put some pop foamies on the mics and dail up a high pass filter to a 100hz or so , the low mic popping is so easily dealed with....
Seems like a nice guy. A little defensive in some of his answers but nice guy. Would be curious to know how many people hated Avery. Seems like a complete goof
This many podcast into this and RA is allowed to hold a microphone
CuJo flipped his hand over since the early 90's he is not the first goalie to do that.
Cujo flipped the whole stick over. Glove was the top hand, blocker was the bottom hand
I’m 25 minutes into this and the wrinkle in the flag is fucking with my world
Lmao
Recchi went out w a cup win
Hey. Biz just disappeared.

Belfour get it right
@@adamlalonde634 teddie Belfort is ans was good
Didn't Cujo spend time with the Stars ?
I’d bet money that biz doesn’t like this comment
I always hated Turco. I think more than any other goalie I have ever seen in my lifetime, he absolutely loved to take shots then skate away.
I think u have him confused with binnington there bud
