Ian White was an extremely good nhl offensive defenseman who played more like a two way d because of his exceptional defensive positioning while at times responsible for rushing the puck into the offensive zone. And I was privileged to see him play in my city of toronto.

Ian needs to take accountability on the charges a little bit. Sure he probably got screwed but made many mistakes along the way to get himself there. Hope the best for him though! Good old school hockey guy.
Always liked Ian whites game.i thought he was underutilized for what he could bring to the ice.times were changing in the nhl.most gms only wanted big guys on the blue line with maybe 1 guy of whites size,but could pass the puck and jump into the rush.
