Re; the RS, I'd rather have one that I'm not frightened to use, rather than a concours car that never leaves the garage. Jack is a great lad, and I was delighted to see Charlie's rally/racing success earlier in the year.
Nice one Jack. I totally understand what you’re saying about the Subaru. I fell into the trap when I had my 2014 WRX STi and put a yellow WRC style wrap on the car. It looked naff. I got rid of it. The only Subaru road cars that I really liked were the Legacy GTB estates that were grey import models. They were a real sleeper of a car and such a weapon to drive. Much more comfortable than the Impreza.
To be fair you have got a pritty fantastic job that a lot of classic vehicle enthusiasts would love to have and be in your position being around all them beautiful cars getting to drive and move them around video them going over them and just generally being around them your very lucky to be in the position your in and have the job you do and being paid more then likely a very good wage👍 not that I’m jealous or anything (I massively am)😜😂
I am not sure why he is moaning. Surely the more cars to deal with the more profit. To save time and make things easier, why not simply record one message on tape etc and play the tape for each car. Just press play and for every car the tape will say the car has has just landed, is really bright, is really straight, the skins and shuts are good, it starts on the button. I really like this car. What a lovely car. That is what he says anyway for every car so think of the time saved lol.
Interesting video. As I watched it I kept thinking 'I wonder what carbon monoxide level is like?' If I did a shift in there obviously it would be harmless. Presumably most of the CO would rise to that big roof. But if you worked there, like Jack does, I wonder whether his CO would rise over time. If it did he would start complaining of headaches. Lets hope there is someone there who would take that very seriously. It takes such a long time to clear CO not just half hour in fresh air. Perhaps they have got CO monitors at head hight.
Definately not the dream job. I would rather be driving those classics than filming them or cleaning them. I can't see how the video enhances the sale to be honest , I think the time could be spent more productive in other areas. If someone is genuinely interested in a car from the many photos they are surely going to come and see it before bidding regardless of the video. Also, after an auction give the buyers a time and day to pick their cars up starting from the front of the warehouse and working back. Why does Jack always wear builders trousers with those window cleaner pockets?
The family’s business in great hands with Jack
I quite often speak with Jack. He's a real nice genuine guy.
You got a petrol head's dream job jack loved the video 📹 always interesting to see what happens after the auctions 😊
Thanks Jack, interesting, what an awesome job you have.....lucky boy to be part of such a wonderful business.
I bet the time flies and there are probably not enough hours in the day. 😎
Good luck for the Track Rod Jack, I'll be in Cropton Saturday cheering you on.. 🤙🏼

Fabulous insight 👍

What a credit to his family this is what happens when you bring your kids up right
Next video - Confessions - who's damaged an auction car on the job? 😛
You have!....born lucky.
Blimey, you walk fast 🤣
I feel sorry for the poor bastard that's entered that Subaru, I thought these guys are supposed to be doing they're best for the vendor!!!!

😂 your bang on about some of those scoobys so don’t worry about it, I’m sure some of the purists are rolling their eyes too😳.
Excellent presenting Jack! Was it you i recall serving at the Caff a few years back? 🤔

The 1980's have a lot to answer for with those terrible glass sunroofs, it ruins a very nice looking RS2000
Crikey jack, your fast on ya feet 😂 and who was the 70s German porn star filming towards the end 😂😂. Cracking video mate.
question. what with bangers and cash.....restoring classics and the other spins offs.. is filming an everyday thing now at Mathewsons ?
It almost always has been. We’re there pretty much every day of the week.
Why does he keep saying Just landed .. it’s a car not a plane …

Hopefully they have proper ventilation in place
I really wish he would say talk to the office rather than touch base. That means nothing to me.
Why not put some more doors in?
They like their 2 doors 😂. I expect they rent them.
I hope he wasn’t videoing chassis number plate.
would wlkie talkie's be better than pnones
Not everyone
I would have thought bangers and cash would have been picked up by a American TV network by now?
