Mogg is a politician and therefore by definition needs to have his words and actions scrutinised. But I certainly rate him over any of the snakes we've had as PM the last 2 decades, regardless of how much they wish to appear as a man of the people and drop their T's when speaking.

I find it strange how the same Government that wishes to introduce some of the most draconian protest laws in Europe, to deal with protest, when earlier this month, the Suites Hotel in Kirkby was the scene of a large disturbance in which arrests were made and a police van set on fire. Suella Braverman has refused to condemn or decry the protesters that surrounded and rioted outside a hotel, she was sympathetic with their cause and understood their frustration because little was being done. Ironically their frustration has been made far worse by this Governments inaction. As of, 23 February, new government figures show the backlog for processing claims is at the highest since records began, the figures, from the Home Office, show around 166,000 asylum seekers are waiting for a decision on their future, the highest for over 30 years. All this despite our Government being repeatedly told by its "own" legal experts, over 3 years ago, that Brexit would take away the Dublin 111 Agreement, a law that allowed EU members the right to send A.S. back to the EU state they previously came from ( France)The Governments own Immigration Department warned there was an inadequate amount of Holding Centres to house the thousand of A.S. whilst their applications were processed which result in the Authorities needed to outsource accommodation for these unsupervised A.S.who could come and go as they pleased

He is an intelligent man and enjoys politics but it well aware that when Cameron met the Dali Lama the Chinese forced him to apologise and not do it again. So although the people voted for Brexit, the politicians have done little to achieve it and the UK is unable to stand up against China (as Hong Kong has found out). So why take on the job of PM and get blamed for failure, when GBNews will pay you to do a show and as long as you don't upset OfCom the money is in the bank.

Still reeling from the brilliant Steyn's forced departure from this slot. Not at all sure the politician Rees Mogg is the right option for GBN. For someone to be so inexplicably and avowedly loyal to a disgraced former partying PM who is a liar and a charlatan who believes in nothing gives much discomfort. I guess we tune in and give this guy a chance.

If mogg and others like him in that left wing tory party had ANY integrity they'd have called it out, switched sides or flushed the bad tories out. I've seen nothing from this mp that tells me he's on our side. Actions speak louder than words mr mogg. All talk no action.

Was that a family photo from the 50's 🤣 Shows how detached these entitled MP's are so far removed from what's really going on in the UK and how their catastrophic decision making doesn't effect their lives one bit. Don't trust him and IMO another nail in the coffin for GBnews ☹

Dan, you should have focused some of the interview on Moggys Catholicism. It's a huge part of his life, and much of his integrity, kindness, good manners and charm come from his love of God. You seemed to be too focused on Moggys wealth!

Yes while Dan was polite he pushed some issues rather too far and you could see that Jacob was becoming somewhat uncomfortable. As you say he should have discussed Jacob's faith and particularly the influence he attributes to his upbringing.

Would like for Jacob to be the leader of this country until the elections when I would then like to see him jump over to Reform unless he got 95% of the cons out and replaced them with Reform candidates whilst keeping Jacob and Richard at the top 2 positions.
The conservatives as they stand do not have any espect from me so I do not recognise them as my leader.
Realistically Reform is getting my vote.
