@@tomtugboat in fairness, did you notice that the first red Spitfire's rear wheels had camber? When I was young in the 1970's, I noticed it even then. The cars were new & still had it.
@@777Brad All of them after the Mark IV are like that for stability. The earlier swing axle cars would jack up terrifyingly on turns if you eased up on the gas mid-point. The swing spring installed after 1971 or so creates negative camber and stability in turns.
Great cars! Great video. I would love one but am a bit hampered by increasing charges to parking near my home but in my dreams a TR6 in Red. It wouldn't have to be pristine just servicable. Oh yes. My dad has one that's been sitting outside in the elements for 40 years. We're trying to determine what to do with it. I'tll need complete overhaul. Original low mile motor
sorry, but for how small the interior of a TR6 is, there is no way that guy can function while behind the wheel. Not to mention where the ignition is AKA legit in front of his stomach.
