- Welcome to The Knit Chat, a podcast where I talk about knitting, spinning and crafting in general. Today I'm talking to the new knitter that I once was and telling her what I wish someone would have told me then. Come have a listen and let me know if this resonates with you.

Hi, found your podcast so pleased great help. Now watching though them
You are so beautiful and I loved everything you said !! We are not machines ..... enjoy the process .... only we know that mistake ... don't show .....don't tell :-)
Thank you so much.
As I’ve gotten more experience, I frog less because I can see the problem and figure out how the stitches work together. As a beginner I wasn’t confident in what I was looking at. Practice, practice, practice.
Exactly!
This was wonderful!! thank you! I love the relaxed, unscripted 'rambling' as you called it. Please do more like this with your thoughts and insights. I love hearing your views in your video blogs but this 'audio' podcast is so good to listen to while knitting, uncluttered by visuals, other than your lovely face :-)
Thank you so much for this comment. It's harder than I thought to just be in front of the camera with no extra visuals to support what I'm talking about, it's getting me out of my comfort zone for sure.
I thoroughly enjoyed this "Knit Chat"! I listened while doing some housework and learned and enjoyed. Thank you!😊
I'm glad you liked it!
I have been following since a long time on your French channel and love your podcast ! Having an audio one is great too, I can now listen to you while I spin at my wheel :) One of the things I wish someone told me when I started (and even would remind me of from time to time...) is to watch how long I am knitting and my posture...some pain and tendonitis taught me a few lessons on that :( Congrats for your 1st episode and looking forward for the next ones !
Thank you Sarah! Yes, knitting pains are real and they suck!!!
Great recommendations!!
I hope you found a little something for you in there.
Thank you so much!
