  • Martin Luther described a Christian as “simul justus et peccator,” one who is simultaneously just and a sinner. Today, R.C. Sproul teaches that the church, though filled with flawed people, consists of those who are clothed in Christ’s righteousness and consecrated to a holy destiny.

I have been continually inspired and taught by the videos of Dr. Sproul. Thank God who gave this man to His Church as one of the best teachers for our edification.

By one man’s disobedience many were made sinners; by one man’s obedience may were made righteous. We believers are no longer sinners even though we still sin. That’s why we live by the righteousness of faith. Blessed is the man who the Lord does not impute sin.

“Simul Justus et Peccator” (The Just and the Sinner)
Very interesting Title kind Sir...for there are many different thesis'...when...
...talking about "Works, Faith, Holy, Saved and Salvation,". Thus, there are 2,000 yr old debates and arguments; when it comes to those 5 words in scripture. Sad, but OH so true. IE...
For several of the Baptist's denominations adamantly believe OSAS!* Yet the 50+ Methodist's denominatins; adamantly believe that any one CAN lose their "Salvation".
Plus, the word "Holy" is said to be, "Set apart"; where others say it means "Deified". And sometimes "Saved" is not saving from hell. Yet sometimes it is saved from hell.
Also, James believed that "Faith AND Works" is required; all throughout their lives; to be saved from hell! Yet Paul said in "crysal clear" words,; NO works are necessary to be saved from hell. ONLY Faith! Etc.
Now in other words, about those 5 words, in scripture..
James 2:24 Ye see then how that by "works" a man is justified, and not by "faith" only.
    But...
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by "faith" without the deeds of the law ("works"). Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through "faith"; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of "works", lest any man should boast.
Revelation 20:6 Blessed (by Jesus) and "Holy" (set apart from the lost people) is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be "saved" (from those haters! NOT Salvation).
John 3:15 That whosoever believes in Jesus should not perish (in hell), but have eternal life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Jesus should not perish (in hell), but have everlasting life. (That IS Salvation).
End of Story and I rest me case...
...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
    * Once Saved, Always Saved"!

Where ever the Spirit of God resides is holy because wherever God is its Holy. That was God's point to Moses on Siani.

This is really helping me. I see myself at God's right hand, in the Kingdom. I see her on my right, veiled in darkness, barely visible. Blessings are spread. The Light regenerates. With faith, and strength, through grace, I live, with The Spirit, serving as temple and source of holiness for me, so that I may serve Him, by spreading blessings/ truth to them, the church and even her. So that on the Day of His return, we shall live perfectly, free of darkness. Forever. Amen.

Yes, we still sin, that's why we NEED HOLY SPIRIT to help us! We lead sinners to CHRIST. How can sinners lead sinners to CHRIST? New believers in Christ are SAINTS. While we WERE still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
*God never calls us sinners after we become BORN AGAIN. As we experience the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, Holy Spirit will lead us into ALL TRUTH, NO CONFUSION/ NO ERROR ever. With all due respect. May we not be easily deceived. Wise as serpent, harmless as doves.

"Christian" - a,t the same time just & righteous by Christ but still a sinner! "Saint" - set apart & consecrated by Christ/made holy not perfect.

But sad to say. The church is defeating from Biblical truth. And taking on a humanistic world view.
