Thanks for posting these videos. You helped me start a pressure washing business here in Washington state. And am doing my first driveway and house wash on Sunday. Thanks for everything truly means a lot.

My funniest pressure washing business is that I’m just getting started, and thinking “oh this isn’t going to be too hard!” 😂😂. For real, I did NOT anticipate how much went into everything but I’m loving it and looking forward to getting this journey rolling! Thank you for your channel man!

Hey Rusty, I love the videos. I do miss something you had in your beginning videos. IMHO, the music is nice, but I really enjoyed hearing the sound of the sprayer, the surface cleaner zipping away, the turbo nozzle making its noisy racket. I might be an oddity, but I really do miss those sounds that I came to love in your earlier videos.

    Love the content! Funniest story:
As we were finishing cleaning a driveway and back patio the home owner came home and didn’t say a word. Asked if we could also wash his truck and house. Got excited for some upselling. After we finished his neighbor came over and asked when we could start on his driveway.
It’s then we realized we washed the wrong property. They both had the same style home.

My funniest power washing moment so far was when I power washed my friends Airbnb house. His driveway (keep in mind I was just starting my business) and it was like 35 to 40 degrees. I completely slipped and slid from the top of the driveway to the bottom. The water had a layer of ice, now I know better to wait for better temps or wear some good cushioning at all times.

Also my story would be, years ago a lady was upset that we did a little damage to her screens and called the cops on us, we’ll they showed up and questioned us for about 10 minutes and then spilled the beans that the cop was her husband just playing along with her. Screens were already damaged by the way and they set us up.

Another GREAT video my brother, killing it!
Quick question…newb here - when you did 1:2 parts then 1:1. For the 1:2 is that 2 part water or product?

    • @rusty.nesvig
      @rusty.nesvig  Рік тому +1

Thank you brother 👊🏻. Yes the 1:2 will always be two parts water one part mix. In the 1:2 you’ll go much heaver. The pavers will eat it up faster as it’s more thinned out. For your top coat (1:1) you’ll go a little bit lighter as it’s more dense. You can also do two coats of either or and it will bring your sheen out better.

    Funniest Story!
I’m out washing this Chick-fil-A drive thru dumpster pad at 1am, and I hear a lot of loud yelling coming from the drive thru.
I peek around the corner and what do I see?
Two middle age women, completely naked, in a full on sprint through the drive thru lanes😂
The kicker?? The “winner” of the race was also smoking a cigarette🫡

Is 1:3 1st coat, 1:2 2nd coat what you usually do to stretch out ure-seal? And are you wearing rain pants? What have you found that works best with bleach and sealers?

Great video Rusty, what is the cost difference between the two products and does that change your quote to the customer?

Good question. The material prices are almost identical so I wouldn’t bother changing the quote. If it was a big price difference I definitely would.

    • @rusty.nesvig

Definitely price it by the sq ft. I couldn’t tell you what to be around price as our markets are WAY different. Try reaching out to experienced guys in your area. Ask them what to be around per sq ft and just let them know you don’t want to ruin the market
