GO VOLS! Vermillion Snapper, YUM! Kelton is handling the rod so much better. All he needs is more practice, and Brad, you doing awesome! Keeping a bend in the rod and reeling down is a very hard skill for young anglers to grasp, then physically perform. He is close dude! 100ft of water will really get him the practice. You can tell him, but he is young and excited, he will have to learn himself.

Another great video brother! We lost our oldest son May 2020, enjoy every moment you have with your kids and grandkids! We're planning on a family lake trip to Brownwood lake in Texas during the kids spring break! Tight lines and fresh sea groceries!

I believe that "red snapper" at the 2:26 mark is actually a lane snapper. Not sure on your laws if you can keep Lanes. But the bars and black dot make it a Lane for sure. Plus yellowish fins

Happy New Year Capt. Brad. I've always used Chicken just for crabs. HA
Teach a kid to fish and he'll grow up to have boat problems just like the rest of us. :)
    Great outing with the boys.
Texas has such a limited season and limit on Red Snapper, much more lenient on Vermillion.
