I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. That's a myth. Filipinos are friendly with westerners because they want money. I saw how you guys treat each other and it's far to be friendly.
We sure make much more money in the US but we work hard for it. We can't afford giving money to every random people we meet on the street. There's way too much solicitation coming from left and right. It's so annoying!

@@rcruz262 How can you deny things that are so obvious? There's a massive lack of respect among Filipinos. They even exploit their own kids in that culture. Teenage mothers must give half of their little salaries to their lazy parents and the other half to their kids. How civilized is this supposed to be? It's a culture of exploitation and disrespect.
It's the Filipinos who should be upset about it. Not westerners.

@Anderson Ulysse unfortunately, you just have to be vaccinated and probably with booster so that you dont waste 2 weeks in a quarantine zone in a hotel.

El nido showcases the adventurous and stunning outdoors. I am really enthralled by the landscape. If you love nature and adventure them you have to head to el nido.
El Nido was great, and we loved the underground river tour the most. The secret lagoon was also fun but tricky to get into with strong waves the day we were there.
I'm an American, living in the Philippines since 2016. It's a beautiful country with some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Great video!

Oh yeah, when I'm in El Nido I say, "This is the best seaside place in the world." But when I'm on Raway Beach near Krabi, Thailand, I say the same about it. I'm flying to Puerto Princesa in two weeks for visit number three (starting in 2014). :)
