Hi Sarah, I have ordered RNW Shining Toner after seeing your review. I love the toner and it helps my complexion. For Tirtir, I saw some mixed review that it’s way too sticky that I am not sure if it fits me. 😂

You'll love the Shining Toner! I wish their Shining Cream was fragrance free. Rnw has so many winners I just wish they were totally Fragrance Free.

It's very confusing with the cruelty-free stuff. I think if they don't sell in China and are Korean, they usually are... Korea doesnt like animal testing. I think some brands may not be aware what a big deal it is outside of South Korea? I dunno.

They also have light version of this one. It looks like it has less ingredients. I have combo skin and I would love to try this, but still not sure which version would be better for me

I have combo skin, blackhead/congestion prone but not really acne prone, I’ve been trialing the regular version. I almost like it enough to keep? It’s just a bit.. greasy to the touch? Like the hydration and emollience feels nice for damaged skin, but if you swipe your fingers on your face even after it’s dried down, it will leave oils on your fingers. I do pat it on rather than using a cotton pad and try to only use a small amount (prefer to minimize waste) but I still have a layer that sits on top.
I wonder too if the light version would be better too, because the excess oils mix with whatever I put on top so I’m just shiny from the start (I’m all for a dewy glow but this makes me straight SHINY). It’s fine for nighttime though!

Witch hazel is such an unnecessary ingredient! I recently bought the Dive In cream from Torriden, thinking it was gonna replenish and hydrate me to the moon and back, and woke up utterly parch dry instead - probably because of that alcohol extraction you mentioned.
