Your description of the toner and it’s comparison to Cream Skin is exactly what I experienced with it. So glad I took a chance on it with the yesstyle sale last month. 😍
I bought the toner months ago without ever hearing about this brand… just saw the product description on amazon and decided to give it a chance. First few times I used it I hated the heavy, slightly greasy feeling on my skin and even considered giving the toner away. However I kept using it and I can honestly say my skin has been looking better and more moisturized now than it has in a while. Even my Tretinoin that would always make me peel super badly, now doesn’t dry out my skin as much and I really believe it’s because of this product. Overall my skin has felt healthier, more moisturized and more even and for that reason it’s now a favorite even though the feeling on the skin is not something I love. If you can get past the texture I think the results are worth it .
I'm so thankful for your honest opinion about this line. bc I was going to save up to purchase it, but not after this review! I'll save my money! Thanks again Kelly!
I am so appreciative of honest reviews like this! I'd love to hear your take on how to avoid the sticky/tacky feeling associated with so many products and product layering. I have several products (some were recommendations you made) that I love and really help my skin but I get tired of feeling like I'm walking around the house with a sticky face! Thanks again!
I let everything sink in longer, then go over with an extremely lightweight toner with a pad. It takes away the excess stickiness before I apply my sunscreen. It takes longer, but I feel like I’m getting all the good ingredients without the heaviness/ stickiness.
I think Tirtir is sending a lot of PR to content creators, big ones and small ones because I see this brand everywhere. They have mini sets to try, so I purchased that to try
I hit the subscribe button after watching this because I really appreciated the honesty. Your description of the ampoule texture was spot on. It's such a strange product to apply - and definitely one for the dry/dehydrated beauties
I love because its antioxidant toner. I was thinking about PC antioxidant serum but i was afraid of how texture would be. So for summer i think tirtir is amazing
I know! I am SO mad..I hope they realize their loyal customer base is super upset about the change and go back to the original formula! Ughhh! I LOVE milk toners more than any others, and that wasn't just a holy grail..but THE holy grail.
Thanks for the detailed TirTir review - I bought their toner and did notice a slight stickiness too, so I just use it at nighttime for my dry/dehydrated skin. I use I’m From rice toner in daytime, while still looking for that supreme milk toner. Would you please review Flaskin Rice Enzyme Protein Toner. Maybe this will be it. Thank you and love your channel Kelly.
Well, I would like to share a different opinion on this ampoule. I have atopic skin, combo - dry, acne prone, really sensitive, constantly dehydrated but oily on the t zone. Yes, I know, it's challenging. As you said, it has that really unique texture, but it works wonders. Usually, what you recomand as being hydrating and plumping, is not enough for me. On the other side, I never go well with oils, they just sit on my skin and I feel dry underneath a greasy layer. No matter what I use, after 2-3 hour my skin starts to feel tight and uncomfortable. This ampoule is a game changer, gets completely absorbed in my skin after 1 hour and it gives me that soft plumped hydrated skin all day long. After a while I also noticed some skin softening effects, my skin feels more silky and has this clear appearance and glow from within. But yes, I need to organise a bit, do my skincare first thing because it take a bit to fully absorb. (and it does, not a slightest oily feeling remains, just silkiness, no greasy film, nothing!) Some of the products that I layer it with are isn tree hyaluronic acid toner or the cosrx propolis toner, rnw ceramide serum, isntree bifida ampoule, dr. creuracle kombucha tea essence, purito recovery cream, pyunkang yul intensive repair cream. I also use low percentage retinol from cosrx once or twice a week and some mild aha-bha exfoliants once a week. (During summer I switch to a bit lighter products.) I have also the toner but I only used it 2 times. I loved it so far. Also ordered the sos serum but did not started to use yet.
Thanks A LOT for this review! We don't have the same skin, as mine is really, really dry and dehydrated because of menopause and I never ever feel my skin well nourished ( I feel dry underneath a greasy layer
So I went on to yesstyle and the very first 2 comments were, it’s better than cream skin refiner and great for sensitive skin. Just goes to show you can’t believe everything you read, especially with skincare it is definitely user experience and we are all different and won’t know till we try it. I may try the toner in the future but not in any hurry as I have lots of good ones that work for me.thank you Kelly for this honest review as so many influencers are sing it’s praises .
@@KellyDriscoll oh I actually meant more thick not runny texture by saying not watery, not necessarily milky, something like the Sioris essener, thanks anyway! ❤️
I tried the toner tester a few months back on the back of my hand, and it took a long time to work in. I was really excited about these as I'm a sucker for milky products. Been contemplating for weeks of getting these and the cream but they're way expensive! Thanks, Kelly, for helping me finally decide! 😂
The VP copolymer makes a lot of products very slippery and feel like an oil as well. Something I’ve noticed with this one and in other ingredients. A lot of times it’s those random words that we don’t know what they are that make it have the texture
I wish I would’ve seen this video a few months back. I placed a Stylevana order over a month and a half ago and it still hasn’t arrived, and Stylevana‘s customer service has been horrendous. So I’ll probably never actually get the toner in my hands, and it sounds like it’s for the best.
Thanks so much for the review! I’m desperately looking for a moisturizing toner after the Isntree yam root toner disappointed me and The ordinary milky toner felt amazing and gave me a true glass skin look, but after a week started giving me a rash. (Some of The Ordinary products do that to me). An important note 🙏 in Asian beauty, the order they put the ingredients is inaccurate and meant to highlight curtain ingredients. On western websites it does supposed to appear in the correct way that we know, and also usually on the packaging itself.
I can tell I didn’t pay adequate attention to the ingredients in the toner before ordering it. I have rosacea and witch hazel is an ingredient I avoid because it can irritate my skin. I have mature, dry/dehydrated skin, so I may still try it on my face, but I will probably use on my body. I am happy I didn’t order the the serum because it doesn’t sound like my skin would like it, I think there are so many other products I could choose. Thank you for your well thought out review.
Can you do a comparison video about Etude soon jung cream? ( 2x Barrier Intensive Cream, Hydro Barrier Cream, 5-Panthensoside Cica Balm and 10-Panthensoside Cica Balm). I dont know which one to pick cuz they all seem kinda so similar. Or This or That about Purito b5 panthenol re-barrier cream VS Etude soon jung 10-Panthensoside Cica Balm? They both formulated with 10% Panthenol and Cica so it is hard to choose. Thank you Kelly🥰 I just found your channel recently and have to subscribed immediately❤🔥

I had the same experience as you--I first poured it into my hand and was like, "really? another watery toner? please no.." and then it definitely had some more heft to it after rubbing it in.
I have oily acne prone skin and I love the a tir tir toner it was very soothing to me and alot of hydration. Doesn't feel oily to me but does feel really moisturized. To me it feels lighter than the Dr ceuracle vegan tea essence. I love it, I brought the light version.

Hello Kelly, I wanted to ask you a question about a product that you have recommended a lot on this channel that has Mentha suaveolens leaf extract and it is Torriden's ceramide essence, and I wanted to know if that ingredient that has that essence can cause irritation, since as You question the Witch Hazel in this product, I wonder if Mentha suaveolens leaf extract has the same potential to create irritation.
