Brilliant results. A proper street racer. I have a 1963 "B", also Tartan red. It, too, will be a street racer. It currently has a downdraft Weber, debating whether to install a side draft 45 or return to SUs which will go well with my recently acquired, original HRG Derrington cross flow cylinder head... I had not considered a bumper delete but on seeing yours I am tempted. I also like the idea of the side exit exhaust.. I have a Moss Tourist Trophy fitted and modifying it should not be too difficult. Thanks for sharing the video.. from Oregon USA.
I bought my MGB Roadster in 1973 and still have it. Many of my other friends had alphas and triumphs and everything else and not the one still has it. I'm so glad I kept the MGB
That’s brilliant to hear, depending on circumstances I’d love to keep mine forever. So far I have owner it for 10 years since I was 16, so already a good amount of time.
Hi. I've watched this video numerous times, as inspiration for sorting a track car. Can I ask a few questions ? Who built your engine ? What did you do suspension wise, ie is it still on Lever arms ? What roll bar size did you use ? Any other info on mechanical spec would be great, if you are happy to say ? Thx
Thank you! Changed the exhaust since to a custom single box side exit. The sound is perfect & can still hear the glorious sounds coming from the Weber. Best of luck with your build!
@@antzautos ah that really is awesome! Any idea what diameter the pipe is? Also what single box are you using? Never heard one this good so would love to know more info! Thank you 😁
Josh’s Mgb the system in the video was a bit of fun to be honest! It’s 2 inch from memory into a cherry bomb exit haha. The system on it now is a custom 2 inch made which is far more period. Still a single box. When I’m next with the car soon I’ll measure the box length

Tom Brewer thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed.
Suh-weet. Beautiful paint.
Nice MGB...
Hi, great build! Can I ask, do the window winders clear the front roll cage uprights?

Beautiful!
What seats did you put in this? Been looking for a seat that fits the narrow body of the roadster.
Cobra Monaco bucket seats, they fit within 1cm!
I am curious about the roll cage.
Is it a dedicated MGB specific roll cage?
What is the brand ?
Where did you get it?
Thanks
Sorry for the late reply! It is a safety devices roll cage, dedicated MGB roadster one. I purchased it from MGB hive.
@@antzautos Thanks.. I'll contact them.. Again, cool car !
@@antzautos I contacted the B Hive... Right hand drive cars only. Of course mine is a left hand drive.
Thanks for the info.
Sounds and looks awesome!! What’s the exhaust system like. Does it have a silencer? Hope mine looks this good when it’s done!
