    I saw 2 other videos before this one on how to do it correctly and I just didn't get the difference between wrong and right way. Loved how you guys explained it, the wrong way actually looked different this time to me. The example of the string pulling on your back really helped!

    I'm so happy I found this. I felt like such a wuss because I couldn't bring the wheel out any further without feeling it in my lower back, and I just assumed it meant that my abs weren't strong enough but actually I've been doing it right and once my core get stronger I can complete the full range of motion. also this is the first video I've ever watched of you guys. I've been listening to the podcast for months now and I love the balance of bro humour and science.

    Using the example of "cat / cow" pose (or Chakravakasana) was an excellent way to describe proper and improper body positioning, to do this safely. Bravo, dudes!
    FYI: using a roller for ab work will save your neck, if - like me - you strain it when doing crunches etc.

      How does the breathing work

    • @AG-pf3ry
      @AG-pf3ry 2 роки тому +2

      @@MatrixEyeOpener When doing any exercise, you want to exhale during the hard/push portion. For this exercise, you probably want to breathe in as you're extending outwards, and breathe out as you're coming up. This one is a little more difficult since both portions of the exercise are challenging.

    LOVED the price for all that it is, was looking for a ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1N3gatJfHIxCsI2TbcOH1-k8v-EDJ40N bench specifically with Roman chair capabilities. It was easy to assemble, light enough to move around easily, but sturdy and stable too. We put gym floor pads under it in the garage for added stability but doesn't really need it. Easy to adjust. The dumbell storage underneath isn't super useful and they tend to slide off sideways, but not a necessary feature for us. Thanks for not price gouging when everyone else is on exercise equipment during quarantine times!

    Imagine my surprise when I was searching for how to perform this exercise properly, and then realized it was my cousin's ex husband Sal, haha. I've known Sal for 20+ years, when he was a muscled up young dude playing pool at my house. Great video, great form.

    If the other two guys would stop interrupting and let the guy explain the exercise this video would have been only 2 minutes long.

    Thank you, very helpful. I've had my ab wheel for a few years now and I've used it before. My fiancé has tried showing it to me and I've used the wheel many times before but this video was much better at showing me how to properly use it efficiently.

    I find the ab roller extremely hard to master. It looks simple yet the form is hard to perfect and then maintain

    i feel like the wheel just isnt good for people who are just starting core workouts. you require an already solid core to do it, so why try to start with it? crunch it out baby

      dan brooks yes and no . I agree there are much easier movements to teach a beginner but you can easily regress this movement also . The point of the video is to teach proper mechanics, not to say it's the "first" ab movement you should learn

      dan brooks it’s not it’s good for you to begin with on my opinion becouse it can make your core strong right away
