As soon as I heard this was coming out I ebayed my netflix soundwave (but left out lazerbeak😅) I have a hard time keeping doubles so Studio Rumble and Ravage also went. This will complete my G1season 1 release of the toys I focused on collecting. 😂
Congratulations! I have never gotten to the point of finishing a set with Transformers. Just as I believe I complete a set Hasbro announces a new updated figure that looks loads better than the current offering. Windcharger and the Omnibots are the ones I need to fully finish my set. Fingers crossed for an Omnibot three pack, and we already know Hasbro will do a Windcharger update.
Does anyone else have problems with Legacy United Soundwave where at least one of his legs can't transform due to the peg on the panel, and the hole on his sole not aligning properly? And also, with Ravage not aligning correctly? Like, my Ravage can transform, but in cassette mode none of the tabs fall into each other.
I’ve got the legacy on the way. Missed out on Netflix (never turned up in stores here), same with SS86 Rumble. Considered getting bridge crew just for Soundwave ( have Earthrise Megatron and Siege Shockwave). Was super excited when this was announced.

(sigh) I'm a sucker for Soundwave and his cassettes, so I got this set primarily for Buzzsaw and a new Earth-alt mode Soundwave that hopefully won't have it's gray parts turn yellowish-brown. lol :D Keep on being amazing.
I've had siege laserbeak and ravage since they released, I've been waiting years for soundwave to re-release and with the legacy set I got 2 of the cassettes I still needed (buzzsaw and rumble), I got frenzy for my birthday from a friend, and now all I need is ratbat, which is rumored to be in that perceptor multipack. Overall I love this soundwave, besides the arm gaps (which I already printed some gap fillers for) he's perfect.

I got every soundwave neflix, bridge, SG and now united. I’ll probably say this one is the best of them. My bridge soundwave looks so dark the blue almost looks black. Maybe it’s just my copy but the reason I like this one the best.
I just couldn’t pull the trigger on him for buzzsaw & pay more as my soundwave isn’t yellowing yet but if mine was then yes I would of as I did for Jetfire but he is staying in the box till I know the 2nd run won’t yellow but have heard he has lose joints.

For a soundwave party, I have enough soundwave figures now. I got this plus the nemesis bridge set. Considering the current price of the Laserbeak and ravage double pack, it was a better decision in my case.
I would get the Legacy version because you are getting a Soundwave that won't yellow and the tapes you don't have. I have the Bridge set and I prefer that Soundwave more, but I wish I had the Buzzsaw and the toy accurate Blue Frenzy/Rumble. I just got tired of paying for Soundwave multiple times. I'm not doing it again for a couple of tapes.

Sublime comparative review, my bro! Hope you are holding up well with everything that is going on in your life right now. As a mould collector, I went with the Takara Soundblaster (for the Siege tooling, albeit the double-chest compartmant retool). The Shattered Glass version ought to cover this outdated tooling (albeit the new bandana head tooling). For many, the Core Class version ought to be a good enough stand-in for an accurate mainline Soundwave until a proper brand-new tooling worthy of this Decepticon General comes around. For me personally, I still use the (completely Reprolabelled) Music Label (Blue) Soundwave as my Generations one, good bro. Nothing beats that one, man!
@superroboted Same here, my bro (as long as Blaster is in robot mode). Reprolabelled him as well as they both look splendid together! 🤩 PS. I got all the G1-sized microcasette moulds from KFC toys, and let me tell you, man, the sheer fun & play hours are staggering! 😍 🎶 🎵
I'm wondering when we're going to get a Cybertron mode laserbeak the way he appeared in the pilot first episode? We got Jazz, Wheeljack and Bumblebee so far.

oh man that bridge forearms!. i just wish they just remolded his forearms.. to get rid of those guns. they're forearm guns are nice play features. but it hurts the animation accuracy

The cassette that comes with this Soundwave is toy accurate frenzy. There, I said it.
Modern chugs managed to surpass mp10 optimus and debatebly even mp44.
But mp13 still stands as the best soundwave. 3rd party excluded.

I found net flix sound wave at my local wall mart at the time and he still in the box and yes the yellowing is a problem yellowed in the box smh😮

You have to wonder if they did the yellowing mistake on purpose so we have to buy the same toy twice because it happened to too many figures

This one sits between the Bridge and the Netflix set as each figure the blue still varies

United has loose joints but not as bad as the Bridge version.
