Today, you’re going to learn the story of silent greatness. Of someone who’ll assassinate you, without a sound.

They slowed the rate of fire of charged shots because jonak would outsnipe widows or spawn kill without being able to counter it. You'd die in a split second pre-nerf

@@NavyNexus_ A little correction. Do your job and stay alive. Do NOT try to imitate JJonak unless you are shitting on the enemy team anyways and know that you can get away with it. Then, imitate JJonak all you want.
Besides, to be honest, playing Zenyatta as DPS is much more effective on the ladder than other playstyles. It just works too well.

Jjonak was basically the 3rd dps player who could heal on side for NYXL during the 2-2-2 meta

I think that it was worth to mention the infamous "JJonak nerf" on Zenyatta right click and the "Jjonak syndrome", where other support players started playing out of their comfort zone to try to match his playstyle, but nice video.
Dafran definitely needs a video as well, probably the biggest personality in the west with xQc

11:25 is such an iconic moment, really shows why he’s the best in the world
Ryujehong deserved more credit than he gets. He almost single handedly defined how to play support and showed that all roles can hard carry. Nowadays he doesn't seem anywhere near as good as he used to since every else has improved so much but he was doing what players do now in 2016. A true overwatch god alongside jjonak.

The production value of these videos are insanely good. Every episode is so entertaining to watch. I watch episodes for games that I don't even play.
2-2-2 role lock should benefit them pretty well, hopefully we see a rise in his performance with a return to a familiar composition
100% it will benefit them and I have a strong feeling that it will not be a good switch for Vancouver or SF shock
pewdiepie ate my asshole shock will be fine. They have striker, architect, rascal and Sinatraa. Super will need to improve his Winston but apart from that shock will be great. I’m not so sure about Vancouver though

Blake Patton Vancouver will 100% be fine... They are former run away and have been playing competitively since day one. They have a lot of experience with dps comps.
SmartPunch I know who they are. I’m just staying they won’t be anywhere near as dominant as they have been, with bumper on Winston which is his weaker tank. Seominsoo hasn’t really impressed with his dps play so far, but haksal is insane so there’s that. I haven’t seen enough of stitch to make a judgement on how he stacks up in owl.

Its would be a very bad story though. His team was atrocious in Season 1 and is mediocre in Season 2. So basically it would be a story of a good talent who got overhyped but never delivered.

Back when I used to play Competitive OW (self-made teams), the first team I was one, I was essentially forced into a secondary healer role. With the way our team worked I was, essentially, forced to play Zenyatta nearly every game. JJonak was my inspiration for that time. I tend to follow his aggressive playstyle a lot, but in the back line. Even today, when I don't play OW a lot, I still retain good amounts of skill from playing Zenyatta.

Yeah I remember he once said he doesn't know why people try to imitate his playstyle when they simply don't have the mechanics to pull it off like he does.

Awesome video, guys, as always. A couple things, however, I want to point out: Ryujehong's name was completely butchered in the beginning of the video, but it was said correctly later on. Meko's name was said more as Mako than Meko. Also, it is mentioned that Overwatch League was announced at the end of 2016, a year after Overwatch was released. Overwatch was actually released in 2016 so it was more of a few months after its release than a year. Finally, it was mentioned that Jjonak has had to play more Ana than Zenyatta this year. This is true lately but definitely not earlier in the season. Also, Jjonak made a name for himself on Ana and it very capable on that hero.
Other than that, great video! I love seeing OW content being made. I think it might have been better to wait to make a Jjonak video until his career was a little longer, but this could open the doors for a follow-up video.
As for other OW players that could have videos made about them, Ryujehong, Taimou, Miro, Fissure, and Surefour are all good options. Really, any of the players that have played since beta and have been stars for years.
Dont remind me of the stage 2 finals. Fusion got reversed swept ;(

Problem is that in the goats meta throwing all resources into your main tank makes sense and Vancouver just so happens to have one of the best in the game that’s why they’re so successful so it’d be counter intuitive to throw everything to a zen main no matter how hard he pops off because if you don’t have bubble for rein along with armor pack your front line is going down
