How to Drain the Grease from Ground Beef - My Favorite Way!

Depending on the fat level of ground beef that you purchase, you will likely have to deal with draining hamburger meat in your lifetime. There are easy ways and there are hard ways to get it done. I have 3 ways I have used over time that are the easiest for me, but one is my absolute favorite!

I have a very large colander and I placed a colander in my garbage can which is a rectangle 13 gallon size. Then I dump my ground beef into the colander and squish it around with my spoon and it’s drained! One thing I do extra ears I put a couple of paper towels down on top of or under the colander so that the Grace will drain down into the paper towels.

so you dump your grease straight into the trash can? Wouldn't it melt the liner? or am I misreading this?

THTS how I've always dn it...like ur sister...jus run hot water.(bc I didn't own the house😂) Bt now we own the house so I need a new way.
Btw...my drain has NVR clogged either.
