You said a mouth full! And in today's time with the housing situation and the laws, it's absolutely awful. The humanity for your fellow man is at an all time low!
alchol was introduced to the indians. just as hard drugs were introduced to the black populated areas of nyc and la. this is such a hard deep subject and i appreciate you really delving so deep into this and taking this on. your work is INCREDIBLE. please keep doing it if it's your passion. you talk about ALL the things that are not talked about. that is journalism. god bless you
if a race is already at a disadvantage, like native americans, please don't say it's their fault , because of alcohol. look into the boarding school situation. and how badly the're treated. i live out west where most who have any *social support* live. many don't, esp in florida. all the best
we have SO MANY PARTS to our country! native americans are the absolute most ignored, oppressed, and it's clear, because people can't see they're even real, a lot of times. especially if they're away from densely populated native areas. it's beyond trajic. please look at the documentary *reel injun* . we are not educated about it correctly , we're educated (WERE) through only holly wood. but people like you are changing that. god bless, dear.
When my brother gets out of prison, he will be homeless in Florida. He was actually in Ft. Myers. I can't take him in. Don't trust him at all. He's 41 and has been trouble all his life. I don't want fent in my tiny little apartment or things stolen, etc. I don't want him to fight my partner either. Sad but my hands are tied I feel.
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Thank you. My 78 year old father has spent a ton of money on my brother and still works to "help" him. All he does is end up in trouble though. I never get a dime though I am poor.
I have experienced the racism firsthand in Florida.. it's real and it's deplorable behavior by what are supposed to be upstanding citizens mostly law enforcement encouraged
In Canada the homeless population is 35% First Nation's, They only make up 5% of the population.....And it's really cold in Canada to be sleeping in a nylon tent.
It's true I too married my 2 nd wife. I've gotten shade for that. I born and raised in Morgan City Louisiana returned home with my black wife. She got along great here, and we later moved but 20 years later I returned and things you thought they would grow up and out of never do. NBD but some of them are in police department. It's not gone they still hate you.
No need to be a victim anybody can get out there and make it if they put God first. What a blessing. I got clean and off the streets in 94 praying for strength.I went to treatment and work Rehabilitation. Here's the best thing I ever found Shepherd's Chapel YT explains the whole Bible God bless
Good video, talking about the homeless race was an interesting observation. I vividly remember the interview of the Cambodian man. To my surprise, you said it was one of your favorite videos. To me. it seemed like a rushed video, that you wanted to keep short, but that was just my opinion at the time. I remember his like of Courvoisier.
i was very frustrated at his affliction for crime.. it felt valueless to me at the time.. but now as time passes and i interview somany people FULL OF CRAP and lies.. i can appreciate a man who doesnt lie about his issue
I was hl in the 80's I would not share that then because they hated you if you did. I would never take a drink when I was HL I needed to keep an eye out I was open and vernerable being unfamiliar with the people and norms.
22%HISPANICS is capp its hardd for me To see homeless Hispanics its mostlyyy Whites n BLACKS Latinos live with theyy families which makes it easyy for them not to become homeless
Colorado springs shelters and so called providers, that cater to houses people vast shade on non drug addiction, ( because than the powers that be, have them over a barrel), so as imo rasusim in colorado sose not seem to exist only druggies vs non druggies because again due to legaly binding people to force vs healing in general terms it's sad
This was a great documentary, I work for Major grocery store chain and the homeless hang around to use wi fi , use the bathroom 🚽 which is not a problem but when they lock the doors for hours doing drugs and destroying the rest rooms we must trespass certain individuals, we had a nice fountain that had to be dismantled and cemented up because they we’re taking baths in it at night when we were closed , we never denied anyone using public restrooms until it’s absolutely necessary, our employees are the ones that must clean up after people who aren’t paying attention to the mess they leave behind!
I am a white woman and was homeless twice. Both times my family did not associate with me when I was homeless and didn’t help me or care too.
You said a mouth full! And in today's time with the housing situation and the laws, it's absolutely awful. The humanity for your fellow man is at an all time low!
I really hate Florida. It's like everything that comes out of there is evil
