Thanks for the detailed video, hopefully mine has the same problem. Also Honda really screwed up by not designing the tank to avoid scratching those fairings when you lower it. Theres no chance your going to notice the first time you do it and then your just screwed.
It's really not that difficult to do. But I can see why it might look discouraging. For me it was an essential fix since there is no trip meter on the bike. So I had to keep a mental reminder or take a picture of my odometer every time I filled up. It got old quick...
mike f I have a honda cbr 125cc r 2004 do the fuel still run when the bike is turned off I have bought a bike wot was injection but the owner fitted a carb of his original engine but there is no fuel coming threw the fuel tap if I take the tape off the tank then it runs put it back and it stops what might be the problem.
Would have been good to actually put it back in that wrong position for clearity . It couldn't have been locked into the plastic tabs either in the wrong position .... So can that happen from being dropped on that side of the Bike .???? And the lever coming out of the plastic tabs .... humm . Maybe not a Factory mess up .
This is nice, I took my pump out to clean the tank and I couldnt for my life remember what way it went

Very informative video, not much else on the Internet about it. Mine isn't working on a CBF 125. Thanks.
Thank you. And yes I know, I searched and couldn't find anything about it, so I made one.
Same, but seeing the hassle. I think I can do without the fuel gauge.
