There's a difference between an innocent child and an idiot adult. The little one was too young to know better... there's so much new stuff for her to pay attention to. I'm a Civil War reenactor and I've literally marched an entire company around a little one who didn't realize where she was standing.
And yes, the horses have the patience of saints. At least most of the people aren't trying to grab the reins.

I noticed that too, when it flinched at the sound of the motorbike or car. That was good, because horse was already irritated and stomped at yet another strange human in its face.( like the bizarre elbow woman) As for the kid, it’s never been a good idea to let go of the hand of a young child in a very crowded place and with horses too.

@Real Aiglon I guess you didn't realise that all of those are actual active duty service personnel? When they are not doing the ceremonial aspects, they are on the frontlines in whatever war is going on at the time. They do more during one day of their "fake" job than you'll ever do in your entire life.
Furthermore, if you are going to be a grammar Nazi, let me do the same for you.
Loool isn't spelt with three "O"'s. You only need one.
"We don't care" =- You don't care. You are not more than one person, unless you are calling yourself fat?
"Only one king but many guards." - That sentence should start with 'There is only [...]'.
" king" - King should be capitalised. You are talking about a specific person's title and not the generic description.
"That's "King's Guards" - This is also incorrect. The Infantry unit they are a part of is called the "King's Guard". It's not plural.
"Talk about incompetence...) - Technically, this is an incorrect use of ellipses. You are not omitting anything from the sentence, so there is no reason to use ellipses.

The parent that should be standing with them does though. If it’s not your country then learn the etiquette and rules of the places you plan to visit. Tell your children if they are old enough to understand. In a place like this with strange people, guards, horses and a very busy London road right there you cannot be complacent. Be aware. Switch your brain on and look after your children. So many parents use the ‘my child doesn’t understand’ card. I’ve had four of my own. I’ve taken 36 brownies around central London.
