I just wanted to say that I've been listening and following Ryan's teachings for the past year and he's articulated this path so clearly to me. I actually feel like I AM realizing myself. Found him randomly, too, at the exact time that his teachings could really resonate with me. I listen over and over and I get something new each time.
I know he doesn't need or even want kudos, but I wanted to give my gratitude expression.

I love that you recommend personalizing spiritual practice to suit your own brand of humanity. If you cannot experience something yourself, and verify with your own spirit and intellect, you should not accept anything on faith. Faith is belief without evidence. Even when uttered through the lips of an alleged guru. Spiritual practice should make your heart sing, even when difficult on a physical and mental level. Best regards to Ryan for supplying this powerful message. You are a kin and gentle spirit and we need more like you.

I'd like to thank You and the Yoga Masters in the past who probably sent you as a precious gift to the English-speaking world! You have this beautiful gentle soul, this open mind that is really representative of a new spiritual age. Most of the time I am aware of others trying to take advantage of me so it is hard to drop my guard since I have to survive here. An unconditional love seems so hard and far-fetched in this dog-eat-dog world! But I saw in your video interviewing your Yoga Teacher, who said that before Yogananda passed away, the Master advise, "DO NOT LET YOUR MIND BE TROUBLED WITH WHAT OTHERS DO AND DON'T DO." Basically, he advised us to set our goal to uncover ourselves and the universe, and devote all our energy to that straight shot. That really comforts me.

on min 30. OMG, this is exactly what I felt in my last spiritual journey. Our minds, our understanding in this body, in this reality just will never be capable of grasping the real truth about life, universe or whatever IS. Being happy with what we are capable of understanding and grasping, and that is our experience in this body, in this planet. I am very bad at putting things into words, but I am so happy to hear that concept from somebody else too!

Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing these videos. What I particularly appreciate is your encouragement that everybody is different and that we don’t need to surrender to a dogma or a guru. I think we have everything what we need for enlightenment inside us. We might need teaching but the actual work can only done by yourself. The idea that we need to stick to a dogma, “need” a guru, a particular practice is an illusion. Everything is already there inside us. We “just” need to cut through to our inner divinity.

Ryan I love you and others who take the time to share Kirya Yoga even though so few take the path long term. You said in 16 years you’ve known 5 people who have really done it. Some may feel that’s a poor return on your efforts. But I think it’s worthwhile as they’ve become eternally enlightened. It reminds be of the shepherd in the Bible who rejoices to find the one lost lamb. Your efforts are worthwhile and I am thankful. 🙏

The most salient point here is tat it takes a lifetime. Sometimes more. I thank you for stressing this point at the beginning. If one only wants the floodgates of the third eye suddenly blown open, then one should eat a good mushroom. You will see it but you will not understand it and will be able to do nothing meaningful with the experience. You also will not be able to replicate it at will. The road to realization is long but the view is stunning. I have studied under Yogananda SRF for almost 20 years and have just now decided to take the Kriya initiation that I was invited to do so many years ago. You know when you are ready. I do believe in the Savior, though. It is the Word, the Voice of Many Waters, the Aum. Peace.
Alan Watts is awesome. Thank you for mentioning him.

For me, he is a great teacher... However it is not about the delivery of the message for me as much as I can carry that feeling of deep calming awareness with me in my person which is where it is to begin with as well as without or outside my body and in everyone and everything as he teaches. Thanks Ryan. And all of that goes with you after meditation when it is done in right technique.

Hey Ryan, this is fantastic. My main practice is Kundalini Yoga, Sri Vidya Kaula Tantra, so I see that as "Kriya-adjacent." My teacher also knows some Kriya, my thought is to pickup some Kriya in the hopes of helping my practice. The onions and garlic I find are healthy for me but I can do without them. My suspicion was that the Buddha frowned on onions and garlic because the monks were meditating in close proximity whenever they were indoors....he didn't want anyone to get smoked out by bad breath. I might be wrong about this.

for me focusing on the whisper of the SoHum sound works best. Same with bijas, when I focus on the whisper sound of my voice, it does the trick. I connect to the energy that way. Another thing I read making exhalation longer than inhalation by itself raises kundalini, also inhaling through nose, exhaling through mouth connects mind and body and works on descending current.

Thank you for your teachings. I have been meditating since October last year(2023) but not consistently. 3+ months till now(2024), I meditate daily for 30 minutes and do 5 minutes throughout the day If possible. Before I found out about Kriya Yoga(by watching the Awake movie), I been practicing Dream Yoga. Is it okay to practice both? Or focus on one?

Please tell me I don't need to give up onions and garlic. Ive become a almost full vegetarian / passive vegetarian. I only eat very little meet. If it been prepared by someone else and not enough to cause the need for them to purchase more meet. However I love my garlic and onions. Also how is it considered a negative pranic food? It doesn't make me tired or sluggish. Thanks Rayn glad I found your channel. Namaste!

@@KriyaYogaOnline thanks. I didn't realize garlic and onions had neurological effects. I'll try to limit them and make sure I don't eat them before I meditate. I've been meditating about 2 times a day since stopping benzodiazepines February 2018. My doctor had prescribed them for anxiety. I am the last family member left caring for my mother with dementia. I really can't believe it but I'm now calmer than ever. Even though I'd give anything not to see mom suffer from alzheimer's at least finding meditation has been a blessing.
