Aint Nobody: I sang her „happy birthday” on her 52nd birthday with 700.000 other people on a gig in august last year. She turns 53 in 6 weeks. Why would you tell something that is not true, yet so easy to check? Do you even google? Just chime in and say a random false thing instead of checking the facts first, why don’t you...

This is Skin's voice, and she's incredible. She sounds like this live, too. I saw them play a few weeks ago in Brixton, London. She has a very classical voice, she's been on stage performing with Pavarotti. You should definitely check out "Secretly" to really hear how amazing her voice is, although there's a lot from them that's great.
And you're right about the intent of this song and video, it is hard to watch.

Cass Lewis is incredible on bass. It doesn't really show through on this track, but if you delve deeper into their catalog you'll hear it. "Twisted (Everyday Hurts)" is a good example. Skunk Anansie is one of those bands that should've been a *lot* bigger than they ever got. They are still making music together today, with the exception of original drummer Robbie France who passed away in 2012.

Please check "Oceans of Slumber - The Decay Of Disregard (music video)". Badass female soul singer, Cammie Gilbert. Sick fucking drummer, Dobber Beverly (Insect Warfare) and other musicians who are both oldschool metal and modern. There are some dragging parts I hate, when some parts keep going on for some time, but it's a good pay off in the end, worth the trip. It could have had a guitar solo, but that's fine. Really edgy, confronting lyrics and visuals, you really have to check Hedonism and Weak and many more!
And yes, also lyrics wise very much a band of the nineties.

Your credentials were denied when you said Sublime were essential.
This is a good pick, but I'd hesitate to call it essential.

u react to the weirdest / shittest bands. and when u do finally get a good one, like skunk anansie, u pick songs which are nowhere near their most popular.
