I didn't see a previous video but I literally two videos ago saw a guy do this with the regular sized rolls, two cups of milk I, and he did the butter in the pan on the stove to melt it and then mix with the brown sugar, cinnamon, and some pecans on the stove still before pouring into the pan with the milk on the rolls, and then baking. Both ways look delicious, though his were more ooey gooey.😋

And I shouldn’t say ‘I make the dough’ when I literally add ingredients & the machine & it makes the dough 😂😂 I find bread machines at yard sales for $10 or $15 these days. Super easy compared to hand kneading 👌
What even is the original hack? To add cream, spices and butter on top before baking? If so, that’s not a hack - it’s adding to an existing product. A hack makes something easier, faster, cheaper, or more efficient. A better topping might be tastier, but that’s it a hack.
Use cabbage as a noodle replacement. Take few leaves, roll it up, and chop them into long strips. Boil or stir fry them until they're soft which can take 25-50mins. Then add meat, seasoning, onions, veggies. Can even use cabbage noodles as a ramen replacement so good. Can also make a cabbage lasagna. Try to keep the leaves in tact as possible. Boil them until soft, then layer it as you do with a regular lasagna. The cabbage noodles replaces the pasta noodles. It's so freaking good Get Spaghetti squash mix sausage or hotdogs in it, tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic and onion powder. You can get the frozen ones or a fresh one. If you get a fresh one cut it in half long way and poke holes on top. Oil the inside lightly and place them faced down in an oven pan and bake for like 25mins. You can find recipes online on how to bake them
You can also make extra thick and creamy mashed potatoes by adding cream instead of butter or milk. Just pure potatoes, cream, salt and pepper (and gravy if you want to give it the extra mile)
you can make pasta sauce too with grated parmesan and whatever seasonings you like, leftover herbs as well. the parmesan melts very easily into the heavy cream
Did this and they turned out amazing! My family didn't think they were from a can. I also added a tablespoon of plain yogurt to the icing and it gave it that tang of cre cheese frosting.
It's because a whole generation of people were brought up on Sesame Street. The show was constantly teaching us to look for what didn't belong. Over and over, looking for what was wrong. After growing up like that we're trained to look for mistakes, what's wrong rather than what's right. It became our focus, sadly.

Coffee creamer works great too! Yummy way to use it up and you don’t need to add the extra butter or sugar or flavorings. Just pour you favorite creamer over it and bake like normal. Sometimes you’ll have some sauce left in the pan after baking so before your pan cools, carefully flip your cinnamon rolls out onto a baking sheet and then sauce will coat them almost like monkey bread. Then ice a usual! So good!
I did my cinnamon rolls with SourCream, a Dash of Milk and a dash of Vanilla Extract, plus 1 Tablespoon Coconut sugar 😋 Delicious, it almost tasted like a costco Cheesecake 😊

They clearly do not give enough frosting in those biscuits. Especially if you're puffing the rolls up with cream/butter. If you ever want to add to the frosting all you need is a couple tsps of milk or water and a good dose of powdered sugar. Mix then stir in the original frosting and BAM! Lather those babies up! Lol 😂
Agreed. And any vanilla frosting will work well too. Just store bought vanilla or cream cheese icing. Depending on what you like and if you just wanna make it super easy. But, making it yourself is easy enough.

Or you find that this year they decided to add cinnamon to the recipe and your like WHY. Ended up finding a pumpkin bread recipe that used ginger and cardamom instead of pumpkin pie spice(which has cinnamon). I think I cried for joy.
My mom's been making homemade cinnamon rolls like this forever. With the milk and the brown sugar over the top. You don't have to use heavy whipping cream, you can just use 2% milk, works great ,tastes great!!!!
I add the icing before baking, no foil. Comes out a little caramelized after. Delicious. Must remove from baking dish right away bc icing cools to cement.
I have been using these cinnamon rolls and making the mixture for them prior to baking, I have not yet tried the addition of heavy cream. I have made a bit of additional icing with confectioners sugar and milk but you can also make it with cream cheese and confectioners sugar if you like a little more icing then what comes in the package from Pillsbury. Also important to note that oven times vary quite a bit and I uncover mine for a couple of minutes at the end of cooking time because the tops aren’t browned if I don’t.

No the grands are actually completely different to the smalls. The grands are rolled with the filling in between the rolls like a real cinnamon roll. The smalls are just a ball of dough with butter common melted on top.
I love to add raisins to these cinnamon rolls too! I just put my raisins in a lil pot on the stove and add a little butter and water, then boil them for a couple mins to make the raisins moist and delicious. Then unroll the cinnamon roll and sprinkle the raisins on the cinnamon side, then roll em back up.
I dip mine in French toast mixture, eggs, cinnamon, milk or cream, and mexican vanilla, place in pan and a stick of melted butter and bake. Add icing.....yum!
If I were making this? Id cut the rolls into 1/3 bake and then I'd make like a gallon of the icing and put whole pecan pieces in the icing and pour this icing inside the 3 cuts and make my rolls to be flooded in this icing with pecans! If you're going to eat carbs, then do it all up! Yea.

Cinnamon rolls actually originated from Sweden, "kanelbullar"(spelling??). They are baked individually, as in not not smushed together and are not poured with frosting. Usuallly are topped with little sugar like balls(i dont know the name okay). They are much better and more delicious than the americanised version imo. I feel that the frosting is unecessary and ruins the rolls honestly. Would you put $2 ketchup on a premium cut steak? Im not hating but i definitely prefer the Swedish version🇸🇪❤

@@confused7867 that’s because they used to be way more pressurized than they are now. u would always get jumpscared by the can suddenly popping open if u tried to just peel off the paper. so ppl came up with ways that would instantly release that pressure and WASNT directly in ur face, haha

Cinnamon rolls actually originated from Sweden, "kanelbullar"(spelling??). They are baked individually, as in not not smushed together and are not poured with frosting. Usuallly are topped with little sugar like balls(i dont know the name okay). They are much better and more delicious than the americanised version imo. I feel that the frosting is unecessary and ruins the rolls honestly. Would you put $2 ketchup on a premium cut steak? Im not hating but i definitely prefer the Swedish version🇸🇪❤

She does only speak Swedish in her videos but she links the recipes at the top of the video descriptions and I believe the website has a translate button.

Take the icing, mix it with cream cheese and powdered sugar and it’s a thicker creamier icing. Makes it even better !
