Currently hybrid is not supported by the goverment, hybrid is too costly now, and the goverment says they want to move towards EV, but even if we want to buy high mileage evs, a nexon ev max costs 18-20 lakhs, for that price I can easily buy a top end seltos or a upper middle kushaq or taigun. So hybrid are difficult to come now, and a hybrids are costly too 18 lakhs and above

Many foreign countries does taxation based on amount of emissions from the vehicle. But India taxation is not in favour of that. So Hybrid cars do not get better tax in India and even if they bring Swift with Hybrid, it will be a question on how the price will be with that taxing pattern. Same applies for Grand Vitara.

Foregin sold swift had a great build and a powerful engine, here they made it as a budget swift, we had a 1.3 diesel swift, andha torque ku that build never did the justice
Atleast they should bring Smart Hybrid in Swift and Baleno, it will increase 2 to 4 kmpl.

Government should impose tax based on the proved mileage of car. Then they will tend to produce car with good car with less consumption of fuel. That will be good for our pocket also.
It will end up with low build quality , they should give tax based upon price range, less than 5 lakh, less than 10 lakh like as.

Increasing prices r the only reason...the difference between them n i10 got lesser hence all chose i10 over these...so they stopped production of them.
Soon alto k10 vil b stopped...its a crap for 6.25 lakh on road
But 4 cylinder engines are best it's a end for 4 cylinders very worst decision by ms😢
Once the New Gen Swift with Hybrid Engine is Very High Cost in India, but Swift will use Turbo components and Better Air intake instead of using importing the High Cost Hybrid Engine for Indian market,so by using Turbo Engine we can get more millage with increased Performance at Low Price Range compared to Importing Hybrid Technology from Japan with High Price

Both are not the same segment, either go for Venue vs Sonet both will be having good ride quality and stability with good performance engine in diesel also turbo petrol, or if you are looking for low budget with avg performance and ride quality go for Exter.
