Stop telling them where the food is from, stop the stereotype of spice and curry label. Chilli is not spicy, it is hot! And spices are flavouring plant parts like seeds, leaves, bark, roots, flower and what not. Chilli is NOT the only spice and curry is NOT the only flavour. 😐😐 And yes, these are the words from an INDIAN. Irritated one, as of now. And almost every big fast food chain from any foreign country is almost bland for us, not just with the chilli but even the SPICES. There, I said it. 😒😒
@Rohit Santra ok first of all I'm an Indian myself and I don't feel irritated at their reactions. Secondly, how did they make fun of the food? Thirdly, they just said it's spicy nothing else. They can have taste buds and judge what it tastes like. Theyre probably not used to the flavours so they just get sensitive to it. Now give me one good explanation for each of those points
It's not so much that Americans (and Brits like me) 'can't handle' spicy food, it's more that we just haven't had our sense of taste dulled to it by a lifetime of exposure. This isn't right or wrong or good or bad, we just have different food cultures; historically India developed a habit of adding strong spices to dishes to help prevent poisoning, whereas in the West we didn't have access to these spices so developed disease prevention techniques that focused more on freshness, careful storage and thorough cooking. The results of this are that Indians have their taste buds steadily destroyed from childhood, and so spicy food becomes tolerable or even preferred, while Westerners retain their full sense of taste and are more interested in subtlety and clever combinations of flavour.

I'm in India for a month Volunteering and I can honestly say that McDonalds in India is an experience in itself. it's part of trying the taste of the country
So I live in the US, and lemme tell you Whenever I visit India, the McDonald’s there is FIRE. It’s literally so much more delectable than the mcchickens in America. 👊🏻
^^NAH the mcaloo burger I tried when I went to India tasted so freaking bad, that day I died. Hey but the Indian KFC tastes pretty good actually so yeh..
"No beef" 🙄 "Paneer is like tofu" "Just googled.." and some random words which absolutely did not make sense. Seriously, our food's so much better and in sync with us, and no McDonald's India does not just put a Mc in front of everything.
Arbin XD It would be better to you because you grew up there, though I cannot blame you some aspects of America’s McDonalds you cannot get in India, but obviously those that live in India will prefer Indian McDonalds
Moonchild The comment that set people off were the complaints about no beef, I know some people are not Hindu and will eat it, but of India practices Hinduism so no beef is ever sold. Also the last comment where someone said, “It’s just a person googling on Wikipedia what Indian food is and adding a Mc in front of it.” This isn’t exactly the smartest comment to make considering he has never been to India and wouldn’t know the culture there and what Indian food is there. When I flew to India for a vacation, the McDonalds I stopped at had kulfi (traditional icecream in India, I personally find the taste better and it’s healthier). It seemed insensitive to say that whatever is sold in the McDonalds at India was a poor attempt at Indian food when the Indian food in America isn’t at all representative of the culture, basically it boils down to, “You wouldn’t know, so don’t comment on it.” (Though these comments are getting excessive, even I find some meals extremely spicy at Indian McD, I can only imagine how hard it is for an American where this isn’t the norm!)
Americans try Andhra food.. punjabi food.. heck.. even bengali food.. I am guessing the reaction would be similar to what to Keith during the alcohol taste test.. only 100 times worse.
Athoiba Aribam yes but it is also Amsterdam where you can find many Donald's, off,or chucking anywhere.and mc Donald's is a chain restaurant so it's menu is almost the same across the country.

Rahul M that how I explain my south east Asian friends and foreigners, cottage cheese and tofu kind of similar yet not.
Paneer is like tofu
Am i the only who thinks paneer is waaayyyy better than tofu like that like is plain weird
paneer is LIFE ❤ tofu is like an imitation of something real. no comparision at all.
The difference between paneer and tofu is that paneer is made from normal milk whereas tofu is made from soy milk. That's it. So yeah tofu is like paneer
Indian mcdonalds food looks pretty tasty!
Its not. Our other street food is way better.
+Abhishek Tanwar True
Ajmer Thethy Well, I meant street food made in a hygenic place. I don't eat from carts but I do eat from small eateries which I know are hygenic.
Oh. But Indians and brown people have a culture of literally making food on the street without being inside. That's why India lacks in many indoor restaurants.
It is really good
I'm indian and this was hilarious lmao
Acid i know right. Im an indian . which country are u from cause im not from india
Dog Lover I'm from United States my parents are from India
ikr,I'm Nep and I found the pronunciation funny like when they said Aloo it sounded like Ah-loo not are-loo and how they find the mcdonalds spicy
Ardensphere Productions we dont like you either.
American : omg this is so spicy.....🌶🌶🌶🔥🔥🔥
Meanwhile a indian : dude it is just water......

+Soxxielou x I remember having a goat or sheep fast food burger a while back in India, I'm pretty sure it was McDonalds, but it could have been a Mutton Whopper (real product).

I just love how they go like "ooh it's spicy" when most indians complain about it being mild
These people enjoy boiled food and don't like spicy food wtf?
ehh what ..boiled food 😫
Boiled food with sugar seasoning 😂
OMG jalebi is so spicy for them🤣🤣
In America it is needed legally to include 10 g of sugar in anything you eat
I don’t eat boiled food
why don't they sell this here?i'd buy it.
+Freddy Krueger anti-globalization
Depends on the majority who wants to eat it.
How the hell do they get Mcdonalds from India?
Exactly what I was thinking.
I think they might have just made it here but made it like its made in India
mynamesgeorgina I think they do these taste tests in the country (ie India). It never seems to be the same buzzfeed people who do the normal taste tests
By going to INDIA? Think, have you ever seen most of the people in this video on other Buzzfeed videos before? Wondering why it says BuzzfeedINDIA at the end?
Maybe they traveled there?
2:25 oh no he didn’t
horrible at describing the tastes and textures...leaves us still wondering what it's like...you need better tasters
JesShow Travel/Media It's really not as bad as these guys made it seem 🤦🏻♀️ our McDonald's is definitely more flavourful than the ones in America
yeah....they are the most sissy reactors I have ever seen.....they didn't like a single thing
@@xrishanx yeah I agree I really hate the taste of Beef it's so bland and tasteless and I would take a chicken or an aloo tikki burger over a beef burger any day.
Tvisha Elley I picked something from what the pictures described it as cause I didn’t know the menu. Got a $5 tiny burger, lifeless buns and a piece of boiled chicken in the middle
These guys actually felt spice in McDonald's India lol guys.
And we smile while eating a chilli🤣🤣
to BuzzFeed...do you guys send these people to India to try these burgers or your ship the burgers from India to the US?
+Billy Young bump, was wondering the same
+aman verma they were working in the buzzfeed India office I think ☺️
They find american people in India, I guess?

Okay next time when an American is trying indian food give them a freaking glass of milk coz they are gonna need it 😂indians like spicy and flavourful food (and I'm an indian)so period.
Indian milk
Omg its so spicy 😂😂
Hmmm.... Mc Donald is not Indian food for your kind Information, it's an American fast food company founded in 1940..so it's not Indian idk y in the comments Indian people are proud as if mc Donald in Indian cuisine 🙄

HoneyBabe so true
Its soo goood. I've tried em All and its really nice. But im Indian sooo... Lol
India mein aa or khaa
I would never go to a McDonald's in America, but I wouldn't mind trying an Indian one.
I wouldn't go to a McDonalds at all! And I'm American.
Fine no McRibs for you then. But those are hella good and they are small portions so they aren't unhealthy coupled with a small fry.
Famantha sisher You do know that McRibs aren't actually rib meat, though, right? D=
Actually, meat in other countries' McDonald's isn't bad quality. France and Germany, for instance, serves quality beef.
123itstime4tea Who cares they taste hella good.
Famantha sisher Oh, I thought they tasted fucking disgusting, but hey, opinions.
Once they know they are trying something Indian it becomes spicy automatically for them ..
*Here's Indian Sweet*
Americans: My God! It's spicy
Exactly
Do the Americans know, that Indian McDonald's is way better than theirs.
India : spicy and many flavours
America : only sweet and bland
Ikr their food doesn't have any seasoning. All they eat is meat with no seasoning every day and then they say that Indian McD is spicy.

Atleast it has taste unless like 🙄 bruh i swear they find everything spicy like even if u make them try ice cream and say its from india their reaction would be "its so spicy"
@Zmzxz Yeah we like to eat Food That has taste. I'd eat A Baguette if I want to Have bland Food. We Indians need our spices and Chillies.
Although you don’t get any beef or pork in McDonalds (or any other fastfood outlet) here, the food here is amazing. Many of my foreign friends love the items on the menu here.
U get it in South India especially Kerala lol
Nothin beats beef!! I get beef burger here at Maharashtra too, lol
the way the pronounced aloo hahahhaha
Yeah...ahlou 😅
lmao that was hilarious

I'm in India for a month Volunteering and I can honestly say that McDonalds in India is an experience in itself. it's part of trying the taste of the country
So I live in the US, and lemme tell you
Whenever I visit India, the McDonald’s there is FIRE. It’s literally so much more delectable than the mcchickens in America.
👊🏻
I would love to try a mcaloo tikki
Its the only good thing in mc donalds . Rest all is pure bland shit
^^NAH the mcaloo burger I tried when I went to India tasted so freaking bad, that day I died. Hey but the Indian KFC tastes pretty good actually so yeh..
Don't. It tastes like shit and onions.
Shefali Tripathi yeah, like your mom
blackrose86lh It is not that bad! I can assure you!
"No beef" 🙄
"Paneer is like tofu"
"Just googled.." and some random words which absolutely did not make sense.
Seriously, our food's so much better and in sync with us, and no McDonald's India does not just put a Mc in front of everything.
Why are you defending McDonald's tho? Why are you getting offended over someone not liking McD India? It's still an American company.
McDonalds America is why better, it’s original
Americans taste vada pav that would be funny
TheCrazyIndianAssociation americans taste GOLI SODA
Americans try Andhra food.. punjabi food.. heck.. even bengali food.. I am guessing the reaction would be similar to what to Keith during the alcohol taste test.. only 100 times worse.
TheCrazyIndianAssociation They won't be able to handle the spiciness of vada :D
Even better kara dosa
Americans Taste Fancy Indian Food
I am not Indian but those foods seems very delicious, and these people have no idea how good it is and complain about too much sauces.

As a vegetarian I think I'd love eating at an Indian McDonalds
If you're a vegetarian, India has a huge variety of delicious dishes, do not bother to go to McD at all please.
Delilah Martin we don't have more than one or two veg burgers in Kerala.india
gayathri v p kerela is only one state in india
Athoiba Aribam yes but it is also Amsterdam where you can find many Donald's, off,or chucking anywhere.and mc Donald's is a chain restaurant so it's menu is almost the same across the country.
On all these videos the Americans who try foreign foods are always the least judgemental and accepting.
nice, joke just watch "americans try british McDonald's". :P .
