@ETPCYT i know what you mean lol, I'm trying to grow my youtube following, I have plenty of followers on TikTok and Facebook, but hardly scratching the surface on UA-cam lol
@ETPCYT if I don't hear back from them by Friday, I'm already planning to buy one, im thinking I may get one in the 70s inch range, she's still a small kitten, but loves to climb, and I want to give her something that she won't outgrow that the tiny ones at Walmart lol.
I watched this while building Costco's new cat tree. I was uneasy about how to screw two pillars together with the long bolts. These kits seem to use the same parts and the fabric is the same color. The Costco is taller with more resting choices and a scratching ramp where this has a ladder ramp. My tips if you are building the Costco tree. Use the long end of the Allen wrench to poke through the fabric (this end is rounded) and then locate the hole in the pillar, also with the Allen wrench. The wrench drops in when you have aligned them. Then take the Allen wrench out and hope the screw will slide right in. It can take a few tries, but it is better than trying to locate the hole with the screw alone. At least now you know you are close, so you can stay calmer. Putting all pillars into the houses before trying to screw the pillars in keeps the boards squared up, making it easier to get the screws in. Final tip, and maybe this is just me: This is a morning or early afternoon project to start, when you are fresh.
Thank you for the video we just got this product. The box was damaged. I think God everything was in there except the instructions so the only part I got confused was the post the double sided screw so I put it in one place in place you put it, and I had to take it out because things weren’t lining up in the end. So thank you again for making it a great video. A simple video for us to understand and I get so frustrated. I got it for my son. He loves it. Enjoy your cats.
half the numbers were missing on mine......took me forever.....also no holes in the covering struggled to get the screws in....but its finally done ...one back ache later......suggest you stop for tea breaks...lol....it really has to be tied down if your cats are crazy
TySM! This was the first time I had ever put together a cat tower before, and you helped me! Got it done in no time with you walking us through it! Blessings 💖😁🥰
They do fit ok .. I did not attach mine to the wall.. it hasn't fallen over yet.. but if you have small children .. I would definitely attach to wall.. hmm.. I forget .. it is pretty tall though.. my cats really enjoy it.. use it every day :)
I got the 70 inch and it's a nightmare. I think I used the longer screws instead of the bunch of screws you get. Now I'm really confused and discouraged and think I'll have to start all over. Not happy. I double checked the directions as I went and thought I was doing it right until I got to the first hideout
@ETPCYT I finished it, and my cats were all over it, but it seems like they miss their old one, which I still haven't finished taking apart. Hopefully they'll come around. Maybe because this one is taller than their old one, I don't know lol. But thanks for the video!
Oh I am sure they will start warming up to it.. they probably like the old one because it is familiar to them (smells etc). It has been my experience with my cats , the higher the better.. they seem to like to sit up high and observe what is going on lol.. but they are all different right? Anyways, have a great day my friend!
Hahahaha oh my goodness. Got all the way up to the wall anchor (i had no intention of making it permanent) and I'm looking at the instructions thinking, what on earth is this? Where does it attach? There are no more holes!! I wish they would have written somewhere in the instructions that it was a wall anchor and that it was optional, because the illustration really gave us nothing lol thank you for this, I would have been scratching my head confused for hours
Thanks so much for this. Up and ready. Can you tell me if your cats can get down using all of the platforms? My elderly feral rescue may struggle so I'm not letting him near it until I know its ok. Great video, thanks
My cats are younger and they have no problem climbing all over it. They hop down normally platform to platform which is only about a foot or so. I guess it would depend on the ability of your cat. :) I hope it works out for YOU :) take care, APRIL :)
@ETPCYT thanks for thos! I put my 13 yr old hunter on the top but he's becoming arthritic due to 5ft walls around garden, so I had to dismantle it to return. Your cats are lively and more agile. My boys are sliding down unfortunately but I enjoyed following your video and it was well worth the attempt. I ordered 2 for outdoors which would have been bolted onto the walls but not to be. Back to the drawing board. All the best!
I realized what I was doing wrong you had a slightly different model that had the hole in the middle my one doesn't took me 3 hours and a emergency call to my dad 🤣😭
Hello my Friend! It has a little plastic strap with holes in it.. you can use that to secure it to the wall .. using a sheet rock anchor or a screw directly into a stud.. the strap has one end already attached to the cat tree and the other you would screw into the wall :)
I've put up a cat tower last year. It was easy but I'm trying to assemble a 50/ 54 in its bigger and came w/o instructions and you guys don't say what screws ect. And you have way more parts than I have😢😢😢
@@ETPCYT I actually just finished putting mine together. It only looked like it wasn't punctured. The holes actually went all the way through and it worked just fine. Thanks for the great video.

Awesome video! I recently got a kitten, he loves climbing on things despite being so small still, definitely considering this for him!
I still have this.. both my cats really enjoy it.. use it every day!
@ETPCYT glad to hear that! I might see if I can get one from the company to review, I reached out on Amazon, but haven't heard back from them
They are a pretty large company... I did a few products for them but I think they want reviewers with a large audience.. I am still trying to grow :)

This should be interesting when and if, i can put it together myself. Years later, from when this video was posted.

Can your cats fit in the little houses ok? Did you attach it to the wall?
What size did you get I went for the 54 inch one?
They do fit ok .. I did not attach mine to the wall.. it hasn't fallen over yet.. but if you have small children .. I would definitely attach to wall.. hmm.. I forget .. it is pretty tall though.. my cats really enjoy it.. use it every day :)
I found putting the Alan wrench in the hole I found the hole easier and then I put in the bolt.
Thanks for the tip my FRIEND
Thank you!! I couldn’t figure out the step 5
Happy to help, MINA :)
You’re Legend 😂😊😅
hah thanks a ton my FRIEND :)
Thanks . I did it

Great video . i just happened to order the same cat tree for my cat who is also called Thomas but hes a long hair Norwegian forest cat.
Aww. Your cat sounds super cute.. we still have this one and it is holding up well

Hey i have a hole missing on number 14 right in the middle any ideas what to do?
is it the post? if ... if it's the board you can drill a hole.. but double check.. these are pretty well done
I realized what I was doing wrong you had a slightly different model that had the hole in the middle my one doesn't took me 3 hours and a emergency call to my dad 🤣😭
@@ETPCYT it was the smaller box
I have been working on this crap going on 13 hours

oh I am sorry Tammy. Perhaps if you email the seller they can mail you some instructions
I get stuck on the 1st 20 little part 😢
You can do it MONICA ! :)
I finished it yesterday. My tabby loved it! Nowhere on the instructions does it say there’s another hole on that first 20 😂😅
Woot ! Glad your cat likes it :)
Are you supposed to puncture the fabric? The holes don't go all the way through
I didn't have to.. you might come across a situation where the carpet is not punctured all the way through.. easy fix
@@ETPCYT I actually just finished putting mine together. It only looked like it wasn't punctured. The holes actually went all the way through and it worked just fine. Thanks for the great video.

I believe this one is about 5 feet tall

yeah the carpet can get in the way a bit ! YOU GOT THIS!
