I've never done a cruise before. Very curious to try one. None of my friends want to do a cruise, so I'll have to do one solo. Any suggestions on a cruise line good for solo cruisers that's affordable for solo cruisers? I'm so worried about motion sickness. Do you cruise with Cruise insurance? Watching from Portugal. Great video btw :)
Hey! Cruising is AMAZING. It’s such a great way to experience many places in one go whilst being able to enjoy the facilities on a brilliant ship. Most cruise lines these days have solo rooms available. Virgin Voyages definitely have them. They do tend to come at a higher price though frustratingly. Gary over at @tipsfortravellers has a video dedicated to solo travelling so I’d check that out for sure. Motion Sickness wise, I’d try not to worry too much. It’s hard to know if you will suffer with it until you’re actually in the situation but most ships these days have built in stabilisation and it’s only when seas are at there roughest you start to feel the sea rolling. We’d definitely recommend getting sickness bands just incase though for peace of mind. Travel insurance is a must and you need to ensure which ever cover you take also includes cruise insurance. (Don’t worry, it doesn’t tend to be that much more expensive than normal travel insurance). Most cruise lines (if not all) insist on it and many check documentation before you board to check you have appropriate insurance. Hope this helps and reach out if you think of any other questions and we will do our best to help! 🥂☀️🛳️
@@GetLostWithBenAndGareth O Wow, Thank you so much for the very informative and detailed reply. Much appreciated. I'll be sure to let know how my first cruise experience goes. Hopefully, I can try one around May/June.
Thanks for this. I never thought to take a pic of the info but makes so much sense. Will do that for the future. Thank you. 🙏
Our pleasure. Thanks for watching! 🥂🛳️
