According the the Ace novel the “yonko” 25 years ago were Roger,whitebeard, Big mom and golden lion Shiki. Kaido is the second youngest yonko after shanks.

The fact that every Tekking video has the same structure, set, and cast (him), and only covers a few anime/manga but never gets bored. He puts out multiple videos a week and I watch all of them beginning to end. He is just tekking101 every time. He doesn't change his content to fit a fad, he's never told me how amazing raid shadow legends is, and most importantly he doesn't try to be anything other than himself. Thank you Tekking/Matt.
Roger’s legacy was fading as well. During Marineford, one of White Beard’s goals was to renew ppl’s faith in the one piece.

Here's my theory (pls tell me your thoughts about it)
1. Roger and Garp defeated Xebec
2. Xebec had a child. And it was Shanks (dont freak out yet pls hear me out)
3. Both Roger and Garp know that a newborn child has no sin at all, so they will never kill baby Shanks.
4. The celestial dragons were present at that time, so Garp would never be able to take Shanks. Therefore Garp and Roger decided that Roger would take Shanks in his crew. This is also the reason why Roger left Ace to Garp since Roger knows that Garp wont kill a newborn child.
5. Blackbeard's idol is Xebec (like Luffy is to Shanks) probably he influenced BB on a certain island like what Shanks did to Luffy. So he wants to be like Xebec (like all things related to rocks the beehive the name of the ship etc)
6. This is the reason why BB despises Shanks because the son of his idol doesn't really resemble his father at all in his ideals and ways since Shanks grew up with Roger
7. The hair of Shanks doesn't really resemble rocks hair at all (the silhouette) but maybe he got it from his mother. If Rocks hair color would be revealed as red, Im gonna call it right there.
Additional theory:
Roger had a devil fruit that controls weather (like what happened to Shiki) and when Roger was executed, it was shown that Dragon was present at logue town. It is possible that Dragon knew that the devil fruit would transfer to the nearest fruit which is why Dragon has now the power to control weather.

Usopp will die. All strawhats have their own dreams specifically:
Luffy - pirate king
Zoro - greatest swordsman
Sanji - all blue
Nami - map of the whole world
Robin - void century
Brook - laboon reunion
Franky - protect tom's legacy
Chopper - to be able to cure all diseases
Jimbe - to get fishmen to the surface with no racism
And what is usopp's dream? He never said he wanted to be king of the snipers. His dream is "to become a brave warrior of the sea" and nothing can completely fulfill his dream except to die while fighting for the strawhat pirates. (This is also hinted couple of times whenever usopp doesnt want to go to an island or a place he always says "im gonna die from not go to an island disease") and this could be the hardest point of Luffy during his battle (since when he was with Ace when ace died, he fainted cause he wasnt able to take the pain) but this time, Luffy should be able to withstand the pain and shouldnt let emotions get to him to defeat blackbeard (im not sure who his final opponent is, but most likely it would be blackbeard since one piece will end after luffy becomes pirate king)

I feel like the term “Yonko” “Four Emperors” might go back to Rocks’s crew, and now over the years is just what the public refers to the four strongest pirates as. Think about it like this: all of the previous Yonko came from Rocks’s crew, maybe that was what Rocks referred to his divisions commanders by, like how Blackbeard has the Ten Tyrannical Captains. So Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaido were all survivors of Rocks’s crew, and all had the same title. And the fourth, could have been Shiki. And over time people forgot about him, so when Shanks rose up, they gave him the same title.
It’s also possible that Rocks had more than four emperors, but the rest died or faded into obscurity

I thought that the "Emperors" are the hardhitters of of Rock's crew. When Rocks is gone the name stuck to Kaido BM and maybe one more. Knowing that this former crew holds too much control and might still be in friendly terms at the time. Whitebeard and Shanks took one of the place and one claimedto be an emperor to balance the power

Since Kaido is younger than Big Mom and Whitebeard, wouldn't it make sense that he got his Emperor title by the World Gov after one of the times he survived his execution. In his intro when he falls from the sky island that's like 10 000 meters high, the narrator says how he's survived all his executions, he's sank World Gov ships while being escorted, people say that in a 1v1 he will always win. Does it not make sense for the world at large to eventually go "Well this Kaido guy is evidently really strong, he has his own territories and has a very large bounty, i guess he's the 4th Emperor of the sea now" . Shanks could've gotten his title from the World Gov telling Morgan to paint him as such because they fear what Shanks knows because he was in Roger's crew and even had his straw hat for a while. Big Mom got her title because of how she runs her crew, her territories and how generally evil she is, and maybe Whitebeard because he was probably the person closest to actually being able to find Laugh Tale and obtain the One Piece

I honestly think that's exactly spot on, with Rocks being the first emperor, and after the battle the crew that was left alive and were the strongest, each left to become their own emperor. He inspired them in a way and showed them how to be more organized.
Barry's Domain Expansion is called Brick House. Where he locks you inside a room that is immovable by any storm and is impenetrable by any beastly strength. Whatever happens then depends on if Barry uses his abilities. Like Rubix, where he just shifts the interior of the room to either crush the opponent or trap them in a smaller space

This ties back into the question of whether Gol D. Roger was the first Pirate King or not. Who was the Pirate King before Roger? Was there a Pirate King before Roger? I have no problem believing that their name was stricken from the pages of history by the World Goverment, but you think in 800 years of piracy that more then one pirate got to Laugh Tale and saw what Roger saw and laughed just like he did.

Grandline Review did an episode on other possible Yonko for a what if and he came up with a few main criteria: Is/was a pirate, widespread influence (such as multiple ships or a large crew), extreme power (this qualification was noted in video to be the reason Foxy was ineligible) and the optional qualification of holding specific territory such as Tottland, Wano, or Shiki's floating island.

Yeah, the first pirate was just a dude who REALLY liked pie. He went around stealing pies, and was known as the Pie Rater. But as happens with peasants and time and telephone games (think my lady morphing into m'lady) Pie Rater went to Pirateer which went to Pirate.

You may have forgotten that during Kaidos big introduction the narrator states that he challenged the four emperors single handed meaning that he wasn’t an emperor back then and it may have been shiki.
Maybe the reason they’re called emperors is because that was the title Xebec gave his commanders on his crew, like Big Mom has the sweet commanders and Kaido has the all stars, and it just became synonymous with being one of the strongest pirates after the god valley incident.
Out of curiosity, I looked up the etymology of the word pirate, it comes from Latin as 'pirata', which was derived from the Greek word 'peiratēs' another form of 'peirein' meaning "to attempt attack". So that was neat to learn
They mentioned how long Blackbeard was a Yonko Tekking. It wasn't just exclusive to Shanks, the Marines just made mentioned of both cause they were Yonkos for not even a decade. The other 2, Big Mom and Kaido were old guards who held their position for a long time.
I think it was an old video from JoyBoy where he said sth like: Pirates are the free people of the One Piece world, who stand against the WG by freely traveling the seas and getting people of all kinds races together under their flags.
That might very well have been the original idea of "piracy" in the OP wolrd and i can imagine it was JoyBoy or the descendands from the old kingdom who triggered this.

I think this was the first generation of Yonko. Before the current era, there was one top dog and several runners up. First it was Rocks, then Roger, and then Whitebeard decided he didn't want to be top dog, and thus the position is shared by multiple pirates
I wouldn't mind if rocks was still alive, as long as he's a ridiculously elderly old man that can barely hold himself up.
I just have this image of Luffy carrying him up a mountain, away from enemies, they're overwhelmed, no way out... And then they run into jelwery bonney. And she can give him one last stand, a temporary return to youth, the strongest man ever to live.
