Off road obstacle course in my 4Motion V6TDI Touareg. The vehicle has air suspension and no off-road package, just standard off-road mode. I am on Pirelli A/S Scorpion Verde.
I have a 7p5, 3.0 tdi v6 240 hp, without locks or reducer, and everything I used to do with a Lada Niva I do with this one. I am considering installing bass protectors and increasing wheel diameter, I currently have 255-60r18. This car is good for almost everything, quite good on tracks and then on the road you go like a gentleman.
I am curious if these or just some models have the locking diffs or a low or crawl range as well. I am speaking about the TDI models specifically. I found out those options were not available on the TDI Cayennes?
Hello, nice video. With the air suspension he is very capable off-road! When off road you don't feel the need for a low range? I am looking to buy one but it is very rare with the terrain tech pack.
I have one with a terrain tech, I haven't managed to test it yet (only own it for a month) but it feels incredibly sturdy and gives you a dangerous 'can do anything' sensation.
I know these have a crawl ratio better than the VW Amarok. How do you think the hdc works in conjunction with that? Have you tried any extended steep descents i.e. low range country?

I have a gen 1 Touareg with 275 AT tires low range and lockers. It's a tank..new one don't have either.
