- Follow along as we remove the entire driveline (Engine, Torque Tube, Transmission, Differential and both subframes.) in this 2015 c7 Corvette after a neutral drop went horribly wrong. We replaced the torque tube with a new GM unit and replaced the busted oil pan with one repaired by a kickass local fab shop. This is part 1 of a 2 part series. What made you think a neutral drop in any car is a good idea?

How many real world hours?
@@66topshot we had around 25 hours labor on this car removing the entire drivetrain, replacing the oil pan and re assembling the car.
Not true that the doors/hood/trunk need to be ajar when you lift the car, at least with the C5/6/7 generations
@@danlaur7973 you can do what you wish. I’m not taking chances on customer vehicles.. u ever tried to open a door when once’s on the rack? Have u ever tried to pop a hatched while ones on a rack? Be a shame to be so confident nothing will happen and then bam.. lose glass in the back hatch. 😂😂 most employees wouldn’t give a shit but shop owners would. 👀
