    Just bought the A80L and a HT-A5000 soundbar. I'm using the TV as a center channel and I haven't heard any hissing noise. It sounds amazing.

    I bought aA80L and the A5000 sound bar. I can’t get the tv sound to work when the sound bar is working. I have used the center speaker hookup. Is there some special settings?

    @0:50 into this video: What device is that? Do you understand the question? At exactly 50 seconds into this video there is a device that you are connecting to the TV. What is this device? What is the model number? Who makes it? I want to buy it. Sony says it's the HT-A9 Home Theatre System.

    Not sure what I’m doing wrong. My HT-A5000 is set up with the S-Center out at the soundbar but when I plug into the s-center in on my A80J I don’t get sound, however, plugging into the 3.5mm video in gives me sound. Wondering what I’m doing wrong based of this video explanation and I’d I’m not getting the best experience.

      I thought and did the same thing on my A80J. That actually IS the S-center in jack. The green jack below it is for headphones. It was a little confusing. And according to some documentation I read, the S center speaker only plays in the Sony audio configuration, not with Dolby or DTX

    I'm setting up my Sony Ht-9. The instructions say to connect the smart box to my TVs HDMI-Arc port. But I'm using that port to connect to my cablebox. What do I do? Thanks.

    Suddenly my Center-Sync just stopped working through the mini-jack cable, and I’ve tried everything (it seems) Acoustic Center-sync says it’s enabled on the TV (I have the newest QD Master-series A95L from 2023) In my new Sony reciever settings-menu it won’t let me enable the Center-Sync anymore. No matter what I do, it’s just grey’ed out 😭 It’s so damn frustrating!

    I just got the HT-A5000 sound bar and my Sony 77A8OL TV will be delivered Thursday. In other Sony videos, the center sync feature for OLED TVs is described as actuators behind the screen that vibrate the screen itself, using it as a speaker. As an engineer, I question the wisdom of subjecting the most expensive and critical component of the TV, the OLED screen, to continuous vibration. How do I know that my TV will continue to operate reliably under these circumstances?

    I'm getting the hissing from my center sync, but it's only for several seconds at the beginning when I change the media on the screen. I hate it though! Why can't I ever just have nice things when I put the research and money into a product!!?

    Hi. Thanks for the video. Just bought Sony 75X90j (made in Febr 2022) - does it have Acoustic Center Sync function? I see that only x95j has(( i didn't know and also bought Sony ht7000 specifically for this TV. If it doesn't, is there any other way I may use the TV as the Acoustic Center at all? Perhaps via different software update? Many thanks for your prompt answer

Please note that the Sony XR-75X90J is not equipped with an S-CENTER SPEAKER IN terminal, so the Acoustic Center Sync function cannot be setup. It's required a compatible Sony TV and soundbar to set up Acoustic Center Sync.       1. In few of Sony sites re this feature (Acoustic Center Sync) it mentioned for my model that "integrated UI works with..." does it mean that my TV Sony x90j will still work as a acoustic center sync or the TV could be used as a central audio channel? Actually, on Ht 7000 Sony web site my TV, together with oled models and led XR95J, mentioned as related product. Therefore i have bought it...
      2. May i use earphone socket instead of S-central socket if the answer on my first question is yes?
      Thank you in advance for your comprehensive answers as due to some miscommunication in my opinion, on some of your sites, I have bought not the right model of TV...

      We're sorry for the confusion. The Sony XR-75X90J does not support Acoustic Center Sync function as it does not have an S-CENTER SPEAKER IN​ terminal integrated. The (Stereo mini jack) Headphone cannot be used as S-CENTER SPEAKER IN because it is Stereo out for Headphones only.     I have bought 75x90l and HT a5000 and able to hear humming/buzzing noise when using with centre stage configuration as ON, raised to Sony and they are saying it is expected. Why the hell is this ? Why there is no resolution yet on this ? Sony r u listening?

    i just received my A95K 65 inch tv. alone with the tv i have Seinheisser Ambeo MAX with Seinheisser Sub. I am slightly lost here. how can i connect the tv through s-cable in the Seinheisser soundbar? there is no dedicated center speaker port "i guess". i would really appreciate if you could help here. thx

    Have the 55A80J and bought the HT A3000 soundbar today. Acoustic center sync is activated on both. Sound test does also do the mode when tv and bar together. Yet i don't seem to hear any difference. Seems like the sound of the A80J without the bar is even better... the manual does not bring an answer at all. Resets did not do the trick either. Think i will just return the HT-A3000..

      @@SonyConnect it sounds a lot better with the SA-RS5 that i have connected since today I must say. But never the less, fact is the S-center function is not doing anything for me. Thank you for the repair link Ivan but there is nothing wrong with the equipment. Maybe you can tell me how to tweak this so it gets better?

    All customers should know this feature and the problem that comes along with it, there is a big white noise/hiss issue. SONY has not fixed it since 2021.. I face the same issue and it seems common, just have a search in youtube and you will get the videos of it. The issues are not considered to be the Sony A soundbar connected but from the TV software.
    I use X94K and HT A3000 soundbar.
    SONY, any plan to fix it by software, atleast when many by now has reported to have this issue and being a common issue?

      I will contact as suggested.
      But the issue is independent of region or country or even model, As I did mention, a youtube search or a google search could help. If Sony is still not aware of it, then there is a problem in QC itself. ( a test against XR TV and HT A series will definitely make Sony know about it, from the TV side firing speakers).
      When aux cable (provided by Sony) is connected and active for acoustic sync, it will immediately start the hiss and very much evident.
      There is one TV in A series (A80 or so) which does not give this issue, as I read.
      Do you confirm that you don't find this issue?

      ​​@@SonyConnect Today I got the call back after the technician's visit. They have to change the motherboard. And it could be a new motherboard or a refurbished. I was against a refurbished since it is a new TV.
      They were saying the refurbished motherboard is tested . Lol.
      I was thinking if it is similar kind of test done on the TV before selling 🤣🤣
      The technician came and in seconds said that it is a problem..

    Hi, i have an oled 65a80j y just bought the soundbar ht a5000 with the subwoofer and rear speakers, it was working fine, but since yesterday a cant control te soundbar with the remote of the tv and all the options for controlling the soundbar and aditional speakers in the tv are now unavailable, i did a reset of the soundbar many times and still cannot recover this functions, only can control the soundbar with its own controller. I need your help please.

    Hello!! I Have Sony Bravia X80K...Some Months Are Ago My Google Assistant Not Work...Thats Way I Decide To Factory Data Reset My Tv... After The Reset Using Acoustic Auto Calibration Setting... I Loss My Previous Sound Quality... And My Tv Set On Wall Mount Mode... Please Help Me To Fix This Issue... Otherwise... Tell Me Complete Full Audio Default Settings Which Official Set By Sony Company. Please Reply

    Think twice because this feature come with an extra feature, hissing noise. Own a x90k and A7000. When enable the the TV center speaker, the hissing sound is just so annoying.

    I recently purchased 65 inch a80k along with ht-a9. If I connect s center out to tv some noise arises on tv screen. If I turn it off center speaker mode or plugged out s center cable noise not arises on tv screen. Ht-a9 products manufacturering date is june 2022. Is there any manufacturering defect in ht-a9 june 2022 products. If ht-a9 control box turn on automatically noise arises at tv screen (a80k). Purchase and installed this problem arise. Above video also mentioned compatible tv with compatible devices noise arises means then what is purpose of acoustic center feature you advertised.?.for center sync purposes only i purchased new tv a80k with ht-a9. If properly not sync with tv then why high light and false advertising. I watch your advertise video and wasting huge money. two products ht-a9 and a80k i am confused which one is defective among the two. Please give me a solution

      Plug the power cord back into the AC outlet.
      If the issue is still unresolved, please replace the supplied TV center speaker mode cable with a commercially available stereo mini cable.

      I checked already both systems in updated software version. But noise is still coming from tv screen. Commercial available s center out port cable also bought and checked still noise is coming. Please check with team with 65 inch a80k oled with ht-a9 only noise is coming. I checked all the ways and also service center. No issue rectified. This is your prescribed home theater system for particular model. Please check your team for a80k with ht-a9. Please ensure immediate software updates for a80k and ht-a9.

    Hi all. I have A95K + HT7000. Same issue while using central channel feature, hissing noise. Sony proposed to replace a mother board, but honestly I don’t think it will resolve the issue. Is anyone did that already? Any success?
    Oh, also my PS5 plugged through HDMI4. Every single time, I’m going to settings and pressing “display and sounds” to turn on/off central channel it automatically turn on my PS5…
    So basically “Bravia sync” doesn’t work properly too…
    AirPlay working badly/lugging if I’m playing content like video more then a minute long from iPhone(I heard it could be be wi-if router, idk…)
    Anyone had this issue?
    Bravia Camera : gesture control feature - extra slow and not accurate.
    And the last(but not least)- tv remote…
    All buttons working fine, BUT for power button working you have to direct your remote directly to the center of your tv…. Otherwise it doesn’t work.
    I spend a lot on all set to enjoy with my family, and Sony should work great with Sony products, but I’m very disappointed….

    Sony does a terrible job of informing buyers about features like this. I have a 2021 TV with out this and had no idea this was an option. Would have paid a little more if I had known. These sound bars were out and they knew it was coming. Not about to buy a new TV. But I am returning the system. I know there are always new features but did not expect to be out of date when I bought it.

    No solution still not provided. Very wrost Sony service backup. Please don't buy a80k and ht-a9. You will face noise arises on tv screen when connected with center. Better save your money to not to invest flagship product. It is very wrost. Defective product. A80k and ht-a9. Better don't buy any acoustic center sync products from Sony. Don't waste your money. Not working properly. Don't buy like me by seeing fake advertising lists of compatible products of center sync. A80k center sync not working. I checked so many tv in showroom same problem arise. So don't waste your money investing huge money on oled.

    This is very shame of SONY.
    Almost every second or more user is trying to use the feature and is complaining on hissing. I've been already contacting support and service. Had my unit motherboard replaced, hissing still occurs.
    I just don't get it why having HDMI you have to use old analog jack to work with that... wondering what stops from sending the signal through already connected HDMI cable like in Samsung.
    Once more - shame. For me SONY products are no longer a quality or premium product. Not worth money.

    Hi. I have sony A5000 sound bar with S center out port. But my TV is Samsung nu8000. Is there a center channel speaker system that has S center in so that I can connect it to S center out on my A5000 sound bar?

The S-CENTER SPEAKER IN terminal of your HTA5000 soundbar is only compatible with Sony TV models that has S-Center speaker input terminal such as the Sony X95J, Z9J, A90J, A80J, A80K, A90K, A95K, X90K, X95K, and Z9K series.
