This is not a cure all but here my 2 cents on how to get brisbane on the right path.
1. Bring Wayne Bennett back as general manager of football. Not as a coach but the guy who oversees recruiting and retention and scouting. Leave Kevie to coach.
2. Get a representative quality halfback✅
3. Sack Lockyer from the board.
4. Sack the front rowers and replace them with low skill high motor runners, and have Pangai jnr, haas, riki, Flegler and bullymore rotate in the back row.
5. Decide what type of team you wanna be. Then base your 5/8 on that. If it’s a running 5/8 go with staggs, if it’s an organiser go with gamble or seek out Ashley Taylor. Also decide what players fit the type of footy you wanna play. Then recruit and resign based on that.
6. Absolutely flog the players in preseason. Let them show you which ones are mentally tough enough to be nrl players. At the moment there’s 17 guys who like being callled nrl player but maybe 3 that actually willing to do the work to earn it.
Paul Kent is dumb, Seibold walked in with everything and ruined it all with his own decisions with the backing of Paul White and the board. They killed the club, not Wayne.
I need a HIA keeping up with all the Broncos lineup changes.

As a Broncos fan Milford was a good from 5/8 back in 2015 to 2017, but since 2018 Milford has depressed to such a level where Milford wouldn’t even be good enough to be the mascot no less the starting 5/8.

They need to replace their current props with nuggets who just run hard like webcke and gee used to. The back row can be your guys who offload but props need to be just bulldozers.
Anthony Milford is not to blame for the Bronco’s failure these last couple years. It is the CLUB that has failed.
Milford looks like he’s not doing very well, mentally. I worry for him and hope he moves on to better things.
He has been on $1 mil a season since 2018... hasn’t been consistent or showed what $1 mil does.. . In comparison to Daly Cherry Evans contract, $10 mil in 10 years, he’s been consistent even though manly have had tough times. The Milf needs to go back to basics to learn how to enjoy footy again by joining a club not for the money.. or take his millions on a 3 year holiday to the UK Super league.

Turpin and croft are useless, isaako is not a fullback, been saying it for awhile Oats to fullback, he's no turbo by any stretch, but his ball returns would be strong

Milford is a major reason they suck.
1. He sucks and I was opposed to signing him when they did.
2. His salary is why so many former broncos play all over the nrl. You can’t keep everyone but you can keep even less when you pay a potato $600,000 to much.
Lodge is also a reason he and Milford take up 20% of the broncos salary cap let that sink in. 2 not even rep worthy players take up the same salary cap space as Lockyer, webcke, Tallis used to take up combined.

his had years to get back to his "best". A fresh start somewhere else will be better for him and the club, as harsh as that sounds.
If a million $ player needs to have another player to play along-side of him to be good, then he's not worth it. The problem with Milf is his attitude. At his level, he needs to be a role model, but instead he plays dismally, and has poor attitude, which then rubs off on younger players. As good as he used to be, he has to go. Boyd started it, Milf followed, and hopefully this will end the rot that is at the Broncos.

When he first came to the Broncos and played in the halves with Ben Hunt, he was electrifying... we nearly won the GF. Then his attitude went down hill. We moved him back to fullback, and he played worse. Couldn't tackle, could catch highballs, couldn't take the ball back with any penetration. So, no - he has to go.

Well they played him at fullback once last year against the storm, Papenhuyzen made 214 meters I believe and scored a couple of meat pies and set up a few, Milford made 42 meters 0 linebreaks 0 Try assist 0 Linebreaks, I’m sorry if I come of as being condescending, but Milford isn’t up to scratch anymore, he’s lazy and washed up, the potential is there, the effort is not

Why so many haters of the Milf? He was never an organising half back playing a consistent 80 minutes. The broncos have only themselves to blame for paying him big dollars and trying to make him something that he's not. Now Reynolds is heading up there, I actually think Milford would be a great asset for the side, but they let him go??

And look at the game now, every team has the just about the same plays and defensive setups!! Not much of a craft anymore because it’s touch footy on steroids.
Game needs to go back to a 5 meter rule and make the attacking teams create their own space and actually attack the line!!
I love how everyone has been ripping into Milford after Milfords first 2 bad games the coaches came out and absolutely ripped him rather then try to help him. When he goes to another club who will believe in him and help him get to his best you watch how good he will be absolutely horrible behaviour how he has been treated if I was him I wouldn't play well for Brisbane either

As a bronx fan I hope he goes somewhere and wins. He hasn’t been in form for sure, but no one in the spine has been good and he’s just the face of it lol i enjoy watching Turpin put in a good effort on defence but overall as a hooker he just doesn’t add anything else. I’d rather see a hooker switch than this half switch every week.
As for how to fix the bronx, the teams I support in other sports have all gone through rebuilds and the number 1 thing they started with is culture. The bronx need to figure out who their real leaders are so that they can build a proper team environment. If it was like a video game and they could bring in anyone, I would use any money the club had to offer, and bring in cam smith as some sort of assistant coach. But that’d obviously never happen so I would just focus on building back the culture rather than trying to win any games. And make sure to get hynes signed lol
turtlez it's our pack mate... when we had Blair, Parker,Gillo, Macca, moose, Korbin, Sammy we had good experience and also our pack played footy unlike the forward's now apart from Tevita who can play footy.. Haas, Carrigan, Flegler, Riki all have no ball skills why is that? I tell you why it's because they are not gifted we will never have succes because our forward's don't aim up in attack and in defence
@@sutherlandsharks7376 I honestly don’t mind the forwards ay, it’s just unlocking them as a unit every week for 80mins and I think that again comes down to a lack of leadership. When they want to they can honestly match any pack just playing bully ball. Haas lodge tpj and flegler when they get it going, give the boys real good meters but because there’s no threat out of dummy the defence doesn’t need to worry about anything else when they take their shots wide.
Defensively though I think when their offence clicks they’re good but it’s just as soon as points get scored they’re a mess, 1 through 13 lol I agree with Carrigan though, I enjoy watching his efforts but the 13 pos has changed so much and he’s just not a ball player.
Overall though I think they need to find out who their real captain(s) is and kev needs to figure out how to instil belief in the boys. I like that he’s cutthroat with dropping guys but I think he just needs to slow down and gradually build them mentally. There’s more than enough talent there for them to compete every game, it’s just mental.

I only started following NRL since Covid kicked off in Ireland, honestly still don't know who to support,just wondering men if you could tell me where the area's of Sydney that the Irish immigrants would have settled in and what clubs they traditionally would follow?

In terms of Irish in Sydney I’d probs say roosters or bunnies would be most likely.
Irish visitors tend to stay in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, so I’d say Rabbitohs or Roosters.

As soon as the Bronx gave milf THIS contract, it was the beginning of the end. In all the previous GF wins every player was paid unders. Then 2015 happened, where the 1 million dollar man played out of his skin and nobody wanted to follow him. Players lost respect for that jersey after that.

No one's claiming albert kelly is the savior of the team they're treading water until they can get staggs back to get him some run at 6. Until then Milford has been nothing on offense so it's not worth it for how much of a defensive liability he is

That's what I am trying to get across. Broncs need to move on from Wayne or Belly Ache. They are in the twilight of their careers and asking Wayne back or getting Bells for 1 or 2 seasons is short sighted.
