This is a playthrough of of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories with the One-Hit Knockout (OHKO) mod, which lowers Vic's health to one point and prevents you from restoring your health or wearing body armour. In other words, any damage will kill you!

Watching these cutscenes.. imagine how is painful having a brother like Lance
If old man Alberto's heart can't even handle the thrill of a 50km/hr drive, why was his old ass even watching a loud and adrenaline rush induced wrestling match lol.
Been enjoying this playthrough so far! Lance being....well Lance in the previous part is my favourite moment so far 😂I gotta ask though and maybe this has been asked before but have you ever played the 2006 Scarface game? Very similar to GTA and an absolute masterpiece imo but I am curious!
Nope, never played it.
Happy to see Part 3 at last! Lance sure knows how to be a detriment. Let's hope none of his Hardlined habits carried over to here!

30:47 Weapon combat, yes, atrocious for sure, limiting the melee weapons to 1 downward swing, 0 combos & poor registration is awful. Atleast in 3 & VC, the 2 same swings were really quick. Vic's actual combat in this game is amazing. Grabbing, pin combos, longer standing combat, long ahh throws & a neck snap!
That sniping aboard the ship brings memories of Spilling the Beans, I always snipe as many guards aboard the ship as possible before heading up.
Umberto in this game are more hilarious than the origin Vice City.

Allright, so... I have got a new phone, and I can finally watch C4G content in Full HD!
Even my TV doesnt support that res, as it is only HD ready.
A nice change compared to the times when I watched the 6 stars playthrough still in 360p.
And man, I know that this is emulator upscaled, but the game looks really good. I guess I will have to complete it on PS2 someday.
So far I quite like the storyline too. Vic is slowly becoming a criminal, pretty much the opposite of who he wanted to be.
And bad controls or not - Stu, you are going through this like a breeze so far!

Strangely, you can punch while running in this game, but not do the same with melee weapons. You can also do running punches in the air right beside people and they’ll react as if you actually hit them. Also, when Vic does running punches, it looks weird.
Loving this so much.
I remember the game kept crashing during your Vice City "how did you get 7 stars" playthrough, I wonder if it has something to do with a town called Stuart in Florida (seriously!), so maybe the game feels like it has every right to mess with you, lol.
Looks like Umberto has a thing for balls, as he mentions them constantly. It's funny how balls are a symbol of bravery when they're men's weakest point, lol.
(Oh god, I hope I don't sound like Catalina now, lol).
Great gameplay there. I wish they did a PC version of this one and included it in the trilogy. I cannot justify the cost of buying a console for one game sadly. But I do look forward to seeing the next part.

50:10 The mission doesn't fail. The timer stops updating and it tells you not to leave. If you all the time in the mission passes while you're not in the van, the mission becomes bugged and you can't finish it, regardless of if you lose the cops or not.
At least Sheldonator doesn’t exist in this playthrough.
umberto looks just like danny trejo (his VA)
new challenge/mod make lance appear in every single mission and he has to be kept alive. Same could be done with the other gta games like cj and sweet

Getting shot as soon as the cutscene ends.. Where have I hear that before.... (Contra-Banned Vietnam Flashbacks) also the game doesn't seem to like anything you do!
