I have a 2001 k2500 suburban and can tell people watching this that it's a beast! You will never be under powered and will go pretty much anywhere its pointed! It also comes with the skidplate package like Z71 and if it has 4:10 gears it is tow rated for 12,000 obs.
I bought one new still have it with 330k miles on it it's been pulling 12k trailers all it's life love the truck never let me down once

Had the 8.1.... now there's a snail on top of my new motor and it puts out alot of black smoke.... 😍
All 8.1's have a 12k lb rating. With my 8.1 4x4 4:10 I pulled 16k frequently.

Curious how it sounds. My 2004 has stock exhaust. I would like to upgrade it, but not add too much noise so I can be quiet in the woods on back roads/ mountain roads and not scare away the animals.
@@placidscene personally i would try out doing a muffler delete and have it bumped under the rear. Its not too loud but gives it a little more rumble.
Will a bad hydrobooster cause hard steering on a 04 denali....thought u mite be the best to ask...thanks..

What do you think of the 1993 suburban k2500 with the 7.4 are they reliable at 185000 miles and my runs hot is that normal thanks for the videos

Yes
Gas mileage between 5.3, 6.0, and 8.1? The 5.3 I have already gets about 13mpg combined.
The 8.1 gets 10 loaded or empty and the 6.0 honestly is very similar. Unloaded you might jump up to 12.
My '99 7.4 (454) get 10mpg no matter what... in town/loaded highway or creeping in the woods.
What are the wheels?
Stock wheels that come with the 2500. Prolly my favorite factory wheel on any truck or suv.
